Pros: view and food
pleasant views, good food. however, completely unaware this was a time share situation. walls between rooms were paper thin. adjoining doors with no weather stripping or seals allowing full disclosure for any one staying next door and vice versa. overpriced

Perfect hotel for skiing

The location of this hotel is perfect with only one hotel that's closer but the hot tub at The Grand will more than make up for those few extra steps. The hotel itself has a ski shop that you get 25% of ski gear and the rooms come with a working kitchen that have everything from an ice machine in the full size fridge to pots and pans you can use with the oven and microwave.

Great deal off season

Perfect spot to view the just-past-prime aspen Fall splendor! Off season rates make a stay in top resort affordable; unfortunately the pool was closed for maintainence. The Happy Hour in The Cabin was excellent. Room lacks comfy seating to enjoy the cozy gas fireplace, otherwise nice room.

Nice close to steamboat and ski resort

The place was nice and staff was friendly. However our bathroom was full of long black hair in the sink, shower and the floor. We call the front desk late when we noticed and did not get an answer so we cleaned this ourselves. It was so bad the sink and shower drains were clogged. This lead us to think the bathroom had not been cleaned. Otherwise it is a great place in a great location
