Very friendly staff that was more than accommodating. Close to Rothenburg o.d.T (about 10 min drive). I would highly recommend this hotel/resturant/brewery.

Always a friendly welcome here.
This is the third time we have stayed here as a stopover when travelling from The Netherlands to Italy. We have never been disappointed by the service, cleanliness, comfort & food here. A warm friendly welcome from this family-run hotel is always a reassurance of a lovely stay. Did I mention there is an excellent brewery attached to the hotel?? We highly recommend staying here.

Excellent service. Very welcoming and made us feel like family. Dinner was excellent and breakfast service was great with easy reserved table. I will definetly find my way back to this hotel.

Great views of Neuschwanstein from our suite! Our family slept very well and the breakfast buffet was perfect. The best part was getting tickets to both castles during check in for the following day. A great stop for two nights. Free parking and friendly. We traveled the Romantic road from North to South and this last stop was as the Germans say wunderbar!

Charming place to stay
We lived this charming old brewery. We had a nice sized room for 3 kids including one in a baby cot and 2 adults. The proximity to Rothenberg made this a great stop on our tour. Make sure to book the breakfast which was also delicious.

Fabulous stay!
Love this place! The hotel is immaculate and the staff is super friendly. They have a wonderful restaurant and a fantastic breakfast buffet - you can make your own mimosas! Only a :10 car ride to Rothenburg so the location is perfect. Will definitely stay there again on our next trip.

First class stay
This hotel is top rate! Rooms were comfortable and updated. The food at the restaurant was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff was friendly and engaging.

Perfect for an overnight stay.
We have been to this hotel a few times in the past and have always found everything perfect - friendly staff, nice room and excellent food. Staff friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning!

We stay at the Landwehr Bräu every time we go south into Austria, Tirol, Italy, Switzerland etc. This is my 5 stay and as always the service and (most importantly) the food and beer are excellent. The close proximity to Rothenburg o. d. Tauber is also great and we usually combine a visit and see a local event in town. Recommend.

Great location, great restaurant, great hotel!
The hotel was very nice and the staff were very friendly. The restaurant was fantastic. There were no negatives to this place at all. It is a short drive to Rothenberg (8 mins).

Cozy, historic spot
We had a very nice 2 night stay in a family room (2 adults, 2 kids). The full sized bathtub was great for the kids. The inn is very cozy and the restaurant downstairs had a really nice atmosphere. Breakfasts were very good and included in the price.

Nice hotel to stay in
Landwehr-Bräu Hotel is near Rotenburg, one of the most popular tour cities. The hotel itself looks somewhat old, but the rooms inside are very cozy and renovated. The foods of the hotel restaurant is quite nice and I recommend that you try it if you stay there.

The hotel has its charm, both inside and outside. The room and bathroom was smaller than I expected; bed was twin instead of double - but ok for one night. The shower couldn't hold the temperature, which I find very annoying, however it pressure was good. Because of the type of construction, it seems like a big cottage, its very noisy. Therefore, wouldn't recommend for a light sleeper.

Extremely comfortable and quiet!
We had a wonderful stay at the Landwehr Brau. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday. The staff was very kind and even presented him with a small gift following dinner. It was like a beautiful bed and breakfast in the country. The next day we visited Rothenberg which is like your quintessential German town, like a fairy tale.

The staff here are professional, warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble and Uli in particular made us feel special. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for the way it treats it's guests, it's comfort and it's proximity to Rothenburg.

A brewery that's also a hotel is pretty awesome. The service at the front desk staff when we checked in wad super friendly and nice. Wish I knew the name of the guy who checked us in bc he was just excellent. For a birthday we were celebrating they put a candle (which happened to be a mini sparkler firework) in the cake and freaked out when we blew it out they panicked bc there was some gas that it was emitting and apparently we could have literally blown our grouo up. Had a good laugh. They went out of their way to make us feel important. Fernando was a great server! Our German was terrible but fortunately spoke Spanish and helped us out a lot! Only suggestion is that their 3 person room was actually 2 twins and a sofa bed fit for a child or someone 5' tall. The others in our party were in a 2 person room which was nice & cozy. No AC but in Oct you just crack a window open. Food was great too.

Lovely country hotel
I stayed at the Landwehrbrau for two nights with a colleague of mine. We had an exceptional stay from the time we arrived until we departed two days later. THe hotel is located about 4 miles from Rothenburg and is central located to many tourist stops in the area. The dinner is not to be missed nor is the brewery tour and tasting (for 8Euros pp). I would highly recommend this hotel.
