The lobby was nice and beds were comfortable.Posted Oct 10, 2015
Pros: The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The lobby was nice and well-decorated. I especially appreciated the art work.
Cons: The pool, the hot tub, the dining room food were all cold. The outside grounds were in disrepair, and the parking lot needs to be completely re-done.
Location: We were exhausted from 12 hours on the road and just wanted a nice swim and relaxing hot tub - we just gave it all up and went to sleep.
Our stay was the biggest disappointment of any motel experience. I was informed that the pool and hot tub were in working order. The hot tub was ice cold, and the front desk gal told me to go to the back room and try to fix it myself!!! The pool was also freezing cold and we were not able to utilize either. The main reason I booked with this motel was explicitly for the use of the pool and hot tub for my daughter, my grand daughter, and myself. We ate in the dining room, and our FOOD was also cold. What is it with this motel and COLD? It seems to be the operative word for descriptions here. We stayed in room #151 on Sunday, Oct 4, 2015. The maids were cleaning upstairs as we walked to our room, and they had left garbage bags and a cleaning cart just outside our door, and in front of the gate to the hot tub. As we soon discovered, it didn't make any difference anyway - but that was totally uncalled for and poor customer service. I tried to have a cup of coffee in the dining room before we left the next morning, but there was nobody there, so we left and got our coffee on the road. Tsk, tsk. I will not stay there again, and I do expect a reasonable adjustment to my bill for this terribly disappointing experience. The company needs to build a wall between the motel and the prison.

I participated in a cycling event and stayed at your hotel. It was clean, comfortable and very convenient. Your front desk and restaurant staff were incredibly helpful and nice. I will definitely stay there again next year. Thanks for a great night sleep in a very clean and quiet room. Much appreciated!

Faded GloryPosted Sep 11, 2015
It looks good from a long distance--but it is probably not much more restful than the state prison that glitters in its barbed wire necklace just to the south. It was not crowded, even on labor day weekend. We had to ask a chambermaid for help in opening the door. Then crossing the threshold found it was hot inside. The large box fan on the desk was an ominous sign we should have heeded. I fiddled with the AC controls but couldn't coax it into effective action. We definitely should have asked to change rooms immediately but thought it might cool off while we were out for dinner, It didn't and we kept the big fan blowing on us all night. It was cool outside our room and cool outside in the morning but the room stayed stuffy and hot the whole time. Oh...and there's no free breakfast.

Sterling Ramada kind of worn.Posted Sep 1, 2015 on Hotels
The city changed addresses for Sterling so the Ramada has a different address. confusing. The hotel is kind of worn and feels kind of old. The air conditioning was just barely able to maintain the temperature. It was a warm day in the very high 90s.

Ramada really?Posted Aug 15, 2015 on Hotels
I was under the impression with it being a Ramada that it would be a clean, comfortable rooms! The place literally gave me the creeps! The carpet was stained, there was hair in the bathroom, the bed was old and very uncomfortable! One positive though was the people that work there, they were very friendly!

Ok in a pinch.Posted Aug 7, 2015 on Hotels
Girl behind desk didn't understand how to work with Hotels.com site. Hotel was shabby, located next to trailer park and had a prison just down road. My room number was missing. Motel is ok in a pinch. No other places available that night.

Our room was hot and didn't seem to be very clean. They have an indoor pool,it was freezing cold. Such a shame, the accessibility of the hotel is great. Management should ensure the rooms/bathrooms are clean, and the pool is inviting, would make a huge difference!
