Mini fridges were noisy. You had to flick the lever for toilet to shut off or the water would continuously fill in the tank. Didnt have correct remote to the cable tv, so wasnt able to see tv guide to know what was on each channel.

I didn’t like the room…. -the windows were open.. I had to jam them shut -The room smelled very strongly of air freshener - the bathroom wasn’t very clean at all… mirror was streaky and there was hair around the sink, toilet seat wasn’t cleaned well… and the floor was not very clean either. Not a good experience at all!

The bed was not comfortable. The temperature of the room was not adjustable. There was a portable air conditioner in the wall which could have doubled as a heater. It did not work. The continental breakfast was sub par. Will never stay here again.

We ended up not staying and checking out as soon as we seen our room. Staff were not friendly at check in, was trying to give it a shot but the room smelt, bathroom was one of the worst I’ve seen. Didn’t feel the safest. Maybe if we didn’t have kids we would have stayed, but definitely not a place I’d recommend with family.

It stated that I booked a room with a queen size bed but the bed was smaller than the queen but bigger than a double. My husband and I couldn’t sleep in the same bed. My husband slept in the bed and I slept on the tiny sofa. Not impressed with the size of the bed, needs to be addressed!

Disgusted!!!
You took my whole first nights reservation money only 10 minutes after I booked. My car was getting fixed and I thought it would be ready so I booked the hotel for business Ten minutes later I got news my car would not be ready until the next day. Went to cancel the reservation and had to pay the first night. Disgusting. Dreadful.

The central heating system is quite loud and kept us up all night. Have stayed there before and it has been ok. The staff are wonderful however they knew of the potential problem with the room and still placed us there. There were 5 of us so it is possible it was the only room they could place us in. For the price the breakfast is ok. The restaurant in the parking lot is not open until 11am so can not get a good breakfast there. The food in the restaurant is ok, if only ordering burgers and fries. Avoid the salads and bread pudding. The brushetta is some of the best I have every had.

Would NOT recommend!! No soap in room at all. Bottle of conditioner provided was actually used. It made me question the thoroughness of the housekeeping staff. In the middle of the night, someone very loudly attempted to break into the room beside me, getting as far as ripping off the window screen. Definitely did not make me feel very safe! Sometimes plans change, and I needed to cancel the last two nights of my reservation with more than 24 hours notice. Hotels.com contacted the property, and the manager refused to cancel the last two nights. All in all, a very unsatisfactory stay.

I was trying to book a stay for Friday September 22. I did not notice that the date on the app was for Oct 6th. When I got confirmation of the booking I contacted both Expedia Canada and Super 8 in Stettler within a half hour of making the mistake, I just wanted my money back. Neither side got back to me. This issue remains outstanding.
