My daughter and I stayed there for an OSU Greek Discovery Day wknd. Everything was good about the hotel except for the cleanliness of the bathroom. The shower curtain had that yucky orange slimy stuff on the bottom of the shower curtain and since I wanted to take a bath, there was no way I was doing it until I scrubbed the tub myself. So I went down to the front desk and asked the young man if I could get the bath cleaning spray (really nice guy by the way). I was extremely surprised when he handed me a spray bottle that was labeled "glass cleaner." I asked him for the specific bath disinfectant cleaner and he informed me that this "glass cleaner" was the standard cleaning spray for EVERYTHING. I found this to be very weird and disturbing. No wonder the shower curtain had the nasty orange slime all over it! The toilet also had an orange ring at the water line. Plus... the granite vanity had very noticeable smudges and grime on the front part that faces the shower (basically where your waist touches as your using the sink). It was apparent that that part of the granite had not been wiped down in a very long time. Gross. I think it's pretty obvious that the "glass cleaner is not cleaning effectively! I strongly encourage the hotel to use appropriate bath disinfectant cleaners for a thorough & effective cleaning. Not sure if i'll stay here again -will probably look for another hotel to try- but if I do, i'll definitely bring my own cleaner!!
