Only if in a pinch

When we checked in they where busy on the internet and rushed us through it. The room needs a good scrubbing smelt like dog and had stains on the sitting area. The room thermostat was not working so they put a sign to used control on the window unit. Television had to turned on and off manually but remote control worked volume and channels. Then next morning the complimentary breakfast half the area is closed off and needs work. The breakfast was waffle or cereal, bagel or toast. Not a lot of choices. We have stayed at other micotel locations that were a lot better. Seems like this one needs better upkeep.

Microtel Inn in Stillwater, OK

Nice, clean, low frills quick over-night trip hotel. The only thing odd was that the AC wasn't on when we came into the room (window unit) and boy was it hot and stuffy. Took a while to cool down, but other than that, a nice stay. I would recommend for a quick trip.

Our AC units are Eco Friendly energy efficient units and if the outside temperature falls below 60 degrees you have to turn the unit off and simpl push the fan button to bring cool air in.

The hotel is rundown, room smelled like smoke, ring in bath tub, washcloth had someone else’s makeup, carpet stained Room was at higher rate due to Mom’s weekend

Pros: Location
Cons: update the facility. Hire more personable staff to work the check-in/check-out desk.
Location: It's Stillwater. If you're not there to visit family or go to a sporting event, then I guess you could visit one of two WalMart locations.
If you're just looking for a place to sleep - it works. I've stayed here before, but probably won't again. The front desk staff doesn't even look up from their computer to acknowledge anyone. The facility is in desperate need of a makeover. The carpet in the room is filthy, there were still items in the fridge from the prior hotel guests, including a half-empty bottle of booze (so that really should be listed in the "win" column). The breakfast area is dingy - part of that area appears to have been a "bar" area at one time. It is taped off and appears to be a storage facility where old furniture and fixtures go to die.

Acceptable place to rest your head for a night

Cons: Cleanliness! The hotel is badly in need of new carpeting and linens and the walls could all use a good coat of paint.
The staff were nice and helpful, but unfortunately the overall lack of cleanliness and outdated room condition were a major disappointment. The towels all appeared clean but stained, the carpet had several stains and generally looked grungy, and the shower had not been well-cleaned. The bed, however was clean and comfortable and the hotel was quiet.

Easy to find. Nice beds. Breakfast was OK. But no remote to operate the TV. Someone from the front desk came up and got it turned on for us, but told us we would have to wait until morning to get our remote replaced. So we were able to watch only one channel.

Nothing “sweet” about this Suite.

Avoid. Room was dumpy. Management less than accommodating. Complaints were ignored.

Karen we do feel bad you were unable to cancel your reservation due to your cancellation policy. I spoke with you myself and you had no complaints, you wanted to cancel because you family had room and offered accommodations for your family and you wanted to save the money. I advise everyone to read the terms and conditions carefully before you book a room online. If there is any reason you might cancel book the plan with an option to cancel. Karen your situation is regrettable but had absolutely nothing to do with your room, the management, or any complaints, the problem was with your cancellation policy.

The price was good. It’s a basic place to stay. There was a bad feet smell when we walked in the room but we had air freshener with us. The hotel staff are very friendly.

Hotel is unclean and the manager is rude.

Cons: Customer service, cleanliness, lighting in room.
I spoke with the manager, Chad, and asked if there way any way I could check in an hour early or leave some of my things with the hotel since I was in a wedding and had to be at the venue early in the day. He was unhelpful, told me he couldn't accommodate that in any way, and was unapologetic about it all. He told me if he did that for me, he'd have to do it for everybody and just can't make any exceptions. All I was asking was to check in at 2:00pm rather than 3:00pm or to be able to put my belongings somewhere safe. i wouldn't stay here and don't recommend this hotel.

We do not have a storage area for luggage and to leave a package or luggage unattended would be a safety/security issue. I do apologize we were not able to accommodate your request.
