Love,Love, LOVE!!!

Anytime we go to Stillwater, Oklahoma (or anywhere) the Residence Inn is our #1 choice! We have (3) kids- so the suites here are huge and actually seem more like a small apartment than a hotel room. The bedroom is separate from the living room and kitchen, so the kids can hang in there and we can shut the door and watch tv or go to sleep. The staff at this location are super accomodating, and the breakfast in the morning is off the charts. This is silly - but- an extra little perk, the toiletries are "high end" Paul Mitchell. So, the only hotel I have ever stayed at that, I don't have to remember to take my own shampoo!

Almost like home

Pros: The comfortable beds and pillows and the continental breakfast.lots of amenities in the room. Full size fridge, microwave,
Cons: The pool water! And provide a channel guide for the television.
Location: We were in town for one night to ride the Polar Express!
We only stayed one night. The staff was very friendly. The beds were very comfy and the rooms cozy. Not sure if the furnace had been turned on for the season but when we turned it on it smelled and burned our eyes. We left for supper and when we came back the smell was gone. The toilet was stained brown from hard water, maybe? And the pool water was not clear so we chose not to swim. Continental breakfast was Delicious! Would definitely stay here again.

Nice, affordable hotel

Stayed here one night for a family trip. Hotel was very clean and nice quality! Staff was super friendly, even called our room after we checked in to check if everything was good for us. My only complaint was the thin walls, I could hear the neighbors snoring. Also, one of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because the indoor pool. It was really cold, there was a heater cycling the water but when it was off the water coming out was ice cold. We didn't swim very long because of this, my son was disappointed. This was a trip for his birthday.

We reserved a Wheelchair Accessible room. The first room we got was not very accessible, bathroom was too small and to narrow to navigate thru the suite. We asked for a different room and the young gentleman at the front desk was fantastic! He went out of his way to come up , show us a different room and help us move to the 2nd room which worked out great. I would stay here again, but I will call next time to confirm the wheelchair accessibility.

Almost like home.

We stayed here overnight because we had an early morning doctor's appointment. Staff was very cordial and even upgraded our room.

I left a note as to what could be better!

Pros: The 2 rooms .
Cons: Please see above and please take action on my comments.
Location: OSU games, Eskimo Joes and Ok City.
It needed 2 more trash cans. I'd like a mirror in the pot area. There needs to be a door where the sink is. One can not use it without disturbing the other person sleeping.The light is in their face!! We have been to Stillwater before and enjoyed the outside area, but the firepit was broken. :( Also, we've been to other building including hotels & this one needs a mouse house (catcher)...There were mice by the firepit area. Ugh!!!! I missed apples & banannas for breakfast.

Bad management and staff

Made a reservation 3 months prior to visit...got to hotel, checked in, went to room and was not given the room type I booked. Went to desk to make the change and was told by two employees that the manager, named Sydney, had overbooked the hotel and had given my room away. The two employees were talking very quietly about the situation and one said the manager had been overbooking rooms all day. They got Sydney on the phone because she was not at the hortel, and then told me they were sorry and instead of sending me to the street I could have the room they assigned me. The room was not what I reserved. HORRIBLE customer service, reservations mean nothing to this establishment. College town, busy weekend, nowhere to go, will never stay again!!
