Very nice spot

Clean, comfy, great breakfast, fair price - no complaints at all. If you are looking for something that is walking distance to the city center, this might not be for you but if you have a car, this is ideal.

We stayed in Room 2, at the back of the hotel. Nice room, large bathroom, shower only no bath. Decor good, beds okay. TV in room, not brilliant only a few channel's. We felt breakfast was a little early and would prefer it available up until 9am. Also your sat with other guests on our large table....found that a little odd, having not done that before. Lady who owns hotel was friendly.

Pros: Great charm, warm, welcoming and Alison was charming, genuine and helpful.
Cons: Bars of soap
Location: Stirling Castle
Alison, the warmest, sweetest B and B owner we met in our 8 day stay in Scotland keeps a lovely place carefully and lovingly decorated. She had wonderful suggestions for places to go and eat and could not have been more charming!

Beautiful B&B just outside Stirling

We only got to stay at this B&B a short time due to our early flight, but I would definitely recommend. The lady who checked us in (I think it was Allison) was so friendly and made lots of recommendations about what to do and where to eat. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable (our room had a couch and 2 bunk beds in addition to the queen size bed, meant for a family). We didn't get the chance to have breakfast there, but it would have been served in a lovely dining room around one table, so would have been nice to eat with the guests. On a busy street but was quiet. Would have liked to stay longer.

Pros: Everything!
Cons: Not a thing!
Location: Sterling Castle, Argyll House, Wallace Monument, Old Sterling Bridge, Church of the Holy Rude. Niki Tams Bar & Bothy on Baker St. has great food.
We stayed on the top floor, only one room with bath on this level so very private. It was beautifully decorated, bed and pillows very good. Skylight in bathroom gives a great view to distant hills. Nice breakfast. It was a 15+ minute walk to town a few more to the castle or bus stop is across the street. Owner was very nice and helpful we would definitely stay there again. Reasonably priced.

Pros: Clean, beautiful and you get to have a wee dram of whiskey or sherry at night in the sitting room if you wish! Walk to Stirling attractions.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: My sister and I were backpacking so we liked being able to walk from the train station and to Stirling Castle, the William Wallace monument, and town.
Stayed in July 2014 for two nights in a sunken upstairs bedroom with twin beds. Loved the decorating. Owner Alison was lots of fun and very welcoming. Breakfast was delicious serving a full hot selection of eggs, toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, black pudding, sausages, and bacon. There were many other wondrous things as well such as fresh homemade bread, dried fruits, yogurt, cereals all set out on a large side table. We were a bit surprised to learn that our credit card had not been charged when we booked as the owner prefers to charge the card when you show up.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Nothing really. The stair climb was the most difficult issue for us, but not a big problem.
Location: Easy to drive to Stirling Castle, Bannockburn Centre and the Memorial to William Wallace. A number of very good restaurants nearby.
Beautifully presented B & B with a delightful hostess. Room tastefully furnished with all conveniences. Breakfast excellent with all varieties of options. We were able to park in front which was handy. Alison helped us with our bags to the room.
