The mini castle experience
Posted Aug 6, 2016
As the hotel used to be an academy and is over a hundred years old, it was almost like staying in a small castle. Set on rock and an uphill climb from the train station it is an imposing structure with beautiful architecture. It is very large and spread out with a courtyard in the middle which has parking, and there was ample parking in back of the hotel too. We were pleasantly surprised to have our room upgraded to a deluxe room which gave us an amazing view of the city, all the church steeples and many clocks.
The staff were gracious and helpful, ordering taxi for us, recommended car rental agencies, and offering to hold our luggage so we could explore the city the next day after checking out.
The room was very clean, lots of lighting, mini fridge, spacious bathroom. And best of all they had a modern indoor pool and jacuzzi.
