I would highly recommend the Yankee. The front desk person was kind and welcoming. As soon as I opened the door to my room, I was pleased to see how clean and cozy it was. The breakfast room was well stocked, and the pool was being enjoyed by families with children. I would definitely stay again. The property is on a main road with easy access to shopping . The only downside was the noisy heater. But I was warm!! Many thanks to all who work diligently to keep the Yankee a pleasant place for travelers.

Needed one room for night because needed to be in the area and the beds/room were clean. The hotel hasn't been renovated but is clean. Maybe they could add some white paint to brighten up the lobby.

I loved staying here for two nights on a weekend getaway. Room was cozy, spacious and very clean. Bed comfy, shower and tub good. Breakfast abundant and tasty. I appreciated that the fridge in the room has a freezer compartment. Very affordable, friendly staff. The only thing I would have changed is I would have stayed in the main building to be near the pool. This place has multiple buildings so if you are not in the main buildings so had to walk to the main building. Not a big deal. Could hear traffic from the street and the room heater is loud at times but neither troublesome. Couldn't hear neighbors and the weekend was a busy one. Would definitely stay again for another visit to the Berkshires!

Totally embodies the Berkshires and rooms are large and well appointed. Breakfast was exceptional with a vast assortment of hot and cold items. Staff were welcoming and helpful from front desk to bar area.

My husband stays at they hotel every week for work and for the first time this week, the front desk girls decided it be ok to hind him her number. Clearly some people are not there to work but to flirt with customers. Other then that the hotel is good

Stayed a couple of nights for new years. It was nice and cozy. Had a fireplace in our room so made it even more special. Would stay again in the near future. Only annoying thing was some people in the other rooms were smoking even though it said no smoking in the rooms.

Plenty to do in the area we had a 2 nite Birthday stay. We love it he area and Yankee Inn is a top hotel in the area. They offer a complete complimentary breakfast nice room very clean

A good value for the price - simple
According to Hotels.com we were able to check in any time. However, upon arrival we just narrowly made the window for check in and needed to wait for the overnight manager to arrive to the front desk. He seemed less than thrilled but things turned around after completing check in. The hotel is clean but in need of more refreshing and updates. It looks like this is in the works. The pillow cases were terrible, like a child's waterproof mattress protector, so every time you move they crinkled like wrapping paper. The rest of the accomodations were totally acceptable. The vintage reproduction vacation posters in each room were a nice touch and we loved the old photography that was throughout the halls of the hotel. It gave a nice warm feel. Breakfast was fair. Nothing fancy but acceptable. We would stay again in the future while visiting family. It's a good location close to shopping and a mid point to the touristy places. A good value for the price.

This is my second time at the Berkshires… first was Summer time with my whole family. We had an expensive resort/hotel complete with kitchen and living room but did not include breakfast. This this time, I chose this Yankee Wyndham to experience the Holidays. I like that the hotel is close to everything like restaurants, museums, activities and stores. The free breakfast was adequate for the two mornings that I stayed there with my husband. The reception staff were friendly and nice. Easy check in and out.
