The Haymarket was just about the best place you could stay in Stockholm. It is a 4 minute walk from the central subway and bus stations. It is in the middle of a busy and vibrant shopping district, and yet the hotel is quiet. There are three restaurants on the premises, all excellent. The hotel is gorgeous, and the beds are comfortable. The staff was uniformly helpful.

This hotel was in the most walking and travel convenient area of Stockholm. A 20 minute airport train from Arlanda to Stockholm central where you can catch trains, trams, and buses to the best places. All the hotel staff were super sweet and helpful. The bar and restaurants had the most delicious food and drink with generous servers. The nighttime bartender at Americain was especially sweet and spoke with us until closing making the best drinks. The rooms were aesthetically appealing and cozy, especially the beautiful shower! Thank you for making our stay so perfect!

Breakfast was fab, we had a window facing the square, enormous room, so much space. Probably due a touch up, looked like it needed a paint refresh here and there, but otherwise super clean and spacious. Bed was comfy, we had a bathtub which we made use of. Effective blackout curtains too. Couple of small things were we were directly above the bar and the music was quite loud, but never interfered with sleep. Also the fabulous wardrobe hid the coffee/kettle, there was not much surface space to use it and no plug so had to use it on the small dressing table. When using the full length mirror it was in the way of the bathroom door, which was only a problem as we were getting dressed up for an event. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Really nice setting, cosy hotell. Nice staff, bar and restaurant. Truly enjoyable stay that I can easily recommend. One thing worth raising is that the door to the room let's in quite a lot of sound which made it hard to fall asleep since I had to get to bed early. Other than that everything was really good.

There were 2 lovely women at the front desk most of the 4 days we were there. They were amazing, especially since they always had people checking in and out. Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t have a concierge which was frustrating. We had a record player in our room that for some reason we couldn’t figure out how to use it. The one time that two young men were at the front desk I asked them how to use it, and they said they had no idea and to ask the cleaners😖so I gave up. After that I only went to the women to help me get a taxi or to recommend a restaurant. Great location, great breakfast, nice bartenders and wait staff. Need to add to the snack menu at the bar (cheese and crackers, pate, fruit plate, etc) The outdoor patio off of the bar was awesome. Terrible and limited menu at the restaurant with the other outdoor seating area.

If you plan to check in earlier than 16:00, be ready to pay an extra fee. If you plan not to book breakfast, but you would to have one day, you have to inform them a day before, because if you don’t it, you will pay almost double price. Very good area to stay, many shops and restaurants nearby and the train station is about 6-7 minutes on foot.

Pros: 1. Perfect location. 2. Bar area downstairs seemed nice. Cons: 1. Temp in room never budged after adjusting it several times. 2. No window in room so you have no idea what time of day it is. 3. My safe broke (Error2) so maintenance had to get my stuff out.
