Good value, had all the essentials. Good breakfast. Bed was ok, not the most comfortable, very soft. Coffee and tea available in the lobby. Very clean.

Not warned about nightime noise disturbance
The hotel itself is 'shabby chique' with every room differently furnished with 'antiques' - four-poster bed; distressed trunks and deskes etc. WiFi is reliable and fast. Breakfast is excellent. The bar food is OK but not all the items were available when we ate there (and there are only about 6 items on the menu). TV selection is poor - BBC World and 4 Swedish channels; no Netflix or streaming. No coffee/tea in room but there is a 24/7 beverage machine in the lobby. No information folder in room ('phone numbers, services, local restaurants etc.) Shower/bath had good water pressure and toiletries were of good quality. BUT...Noise! we were woken at 0430-0500 by trucks being loaded/unloaded from the hotel doorway directly beneath our window and other trucks across the street. This was followed by laundry carts or similar being wheeled noisily across to the Rex hotel opposite (same owners). Staff at reception claimed no knowledge of this and said it must have been other businesses that were responsible. From what I saw from our window this was not the case I cannot believe that no previous guests have not brought this matter to their attention. Guests should be warned and offered alternative quieter accomodation.

A very nice hotel
A nice hotel tucked a block away from the main drag in a good neighborhood with good restaurants and shopping. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was great, the breakfast was wonderful, and on Thursday nights they even had a jazz band in the bar. All and all, a good time was had by all.

Lovely little hotel - just what we needed.
Was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Very quirky design, our room was spacious with lots of natural light. The lobby and communal areas were well designed and clean. There was a great choice for breakfast with different options. Staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Would recommend :)

We liked the feel of the old room, thinking that all rooms were probably different in this property as well. The step up to the room and step down to the bathroom was a little inconvenient.

This is by far one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! The rooms were comfortable and quiet, we felt really pampered by the service. The early morning included breakfast tea and coffee are varied and incredibly convenient, we never had to buy breakfast the whole trip. The staff was friendly and available 24/7 for questions and early check in and out. The area is conveniently located near metros, busses, and grocery stores; there's a lot to do no matter what your style, but it's not crazy loud and packed like Gamla Stan. All in all a fantastic experience. We had minor nitpicky issues with cleanliness one or two days, but they were immediately addressed.

Paid for a window got a small hole in the wall
Paid extra for a window, got a basement room with a small unopenable window to the inner courtyard, the did provide a length of bamboo to allow us to struggle to close and open the curtain with. Queen bed with two sinlge duvets, unexplicable. Strange asian themed decoration in our room and the entrance. Breakfast was awful, everything you'd expect from a hotel breakfast but as if purchased from a mtorway severvice station at 11pm.

We appreciated the unique historical and cultural design and decorator elements. The staff was nice enough and attended to our needs. The complimentary breakfast buffet was delicious and nutritious. I have already recommended this hotel to some friends of friends, who are traveling to Stockholm at the end of this week.

A very nice hotel
Quirky, fun hotel with great staff. Loved the jazz concerts held in the cosy hotel bar when I was there. Great location, and a nice place to stay.

Heaven in Hellsten
This hotel is fantastic. Beautifully designed, the staff are super friendly. It's in a prefect spot for restaurants and one bus to all of the museums. Check out the restaurant Babbet just around the corner. The breakfast is awesome and everything is fresh every day. They have an amazing coffee machine with a burr grinder so fresh coffee is available 24/7. Will def be staying here the next time I am in Stockholm.

Great night's sleep. Which is how I rate hotels.
Nice comfortable stay in a central hotel. 20mins walk to central station on a cold February night in Stockholm. Busy but never felt cramped. Visible but unobtrusive staff. Would recommend.

This place was fantastic! It looked gorgeous, the staff were super accommodating, everything very clean! Breakfast selection was great and really set us up for a day of exploring. The area is well connected and lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I’ll definitely book here again next time I’m in Stockholm.
