Lovely lowbudget by the royal palace

Amazing value for money in elegant yet expensive Stockholm. Sleeping under a medieval vault in the most central and pittoresque location in town, in doubles with walls between them yet open roof, is the best idea of a dorm I have come across so far. Even small breakfast included, and very helpful and kind staff.

Stay well clear!

Bitterly disappointed by type of communal sleeping area in a cellar. In previous hotels at similar cost had proper rooms and great buffet breakfast but here had coffee and toast which after a sleepless night due to overheating and disturbance from other guests was the last straw. We cancelled our second nights stay.

The dungeon

It has been the worst hotel-hostel I have ever stayed at. It was supposed to be a two person room so I expected privacy. There was no ceiling so you could hear everything from everyone. They even give you earplugs. The room division is made by glass on a space that you can barely fit yourself so its even dangerous to bump into the glass. There was no hot water. For 60 Euros it is terrible. I would pay for that room no more than 30 Euros. There was no staff in the place you could talk to.

Nice hostel in a great location.

Pros: Location. Clean rooms.
Cons: Happy to pay for towels in a private room, but think that the price of sheets should be included in the room rate.
Location: Right in the heart of the Old Town.
Rooms were small but clean. Bathrooms and showers were great. Property felt secure. Location ideal - in the heart of the Old Town, a short walk from the Royal Palace. Maps and brochures available from the hostel. Wifi worked well. Light breakfast was simple but adequate - well described.

Exactly as advertised

Incredible value. Incredible location. If you don't mind sharing a bathroom, this is the way to go in Stockholm. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were great (but note that they're only around until about 15:00 each day). The bed sheets aren't included but it's definitely worth paying the 65 SEK to get them. Breakfast was very simple but good : bread, crackers, cheese, jam, coffee, and tea. The rooms in the vault were a very unique setting.

Pros: It is certainly a very diferrent and interesting hostel.
Cons: Cleaner rooms.
Location: It is in the hearth of Stockholm's old town (Gamla Stan) so it is easy to access most places on foot.
Good staff and interesting rooms. It would be better if the rooms were completely surrounded by glass (the rooms were open near the roof so you could here your neighboors speaking...)
