Nice hotel close to tram
Posted Jun 22, 2016
The hotel is a bit far from town but with close proximity to the Sikla Kaj tram station. The neighbourhood is quiet and has a supermarket (Coop) close by. However, there is just a hamburger place nearby. There are a few restaurants one tram stop away in Luma. If you want to go to the city central, you need to take the tram and then transfer to the metro in Gullmasplan. If you need to take public transport to the airport, plan 2 hours ahead i.e. from tram to Gullsmaplan, then from metro to Centralen, then commuter train to Marsta and then bus 583 to Arlanda! There is an airport express at the city central. That means you still need to take the tram and metro to Centralen for the airport express train! Apart from the location of the hotel, everything is great.

First of all, thank you so much for your nice review!
So good to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us, in particular the view and the breakfast.
We do have an early bird alternative where you can make a sandwich, have some fruit and coffee to take away when leaving before the breakfast buffet is open. So my apologies if this information was not given to you on site.
Besides taking the tram and subway to the city centre I can also recommend the ferry boat, leaving from Lumabryggan just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. The easiest and most beautiful way to go into the city centre.
When going to Arlanda airport without a lot of changing transportation, I would take the tram to Årstaberg and change to the commuter train that takes you directly to Arlanda. The trip takes just over an hour and with just one change.
Hope you really enjoyed your Stockholm stay and have a lovely Summer!
