We had an excellent stay at the Radisson Blu Viking. Our original room was freshly renovated, clean, and comfortable though slightly odd shaped. When we discovered that the bedroom television was not working, the hotel had their tech department come to the room to look at it. The tech dept was unable to fix it so a repair person was called in to resolve the issue, but still the issue was unresolvable. For us, the television not working wasn't a big deal just a minor inconvenience. However, a note was left for us to call the front desk when we returned to our room after the failed repair. We soon discovered that the hotel had upgraded us to not only a new room but a suite with a beautiful terrace, a huge bathroom with a steam room, and a very comfortable living room area with a floor to ceiling glass window. It really made our stay to have such a wonderful view of Stockholm and to watch the sunrise and sunset. Prior to our trip, I had sent lots of emails with minor requests and questions. The staff always responded promptly and were happy to help with our requests.
