Very lovely hotel on the Park. The restaurant was fantastic highlighting Swedish cuisine. The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful.

Our second stay at Stallmastaregarden and we loved it again. Our room looked out on the beautiful courtyard as requested. Luckily the weather was not too warm because there is not AC in the room and it was stuffy. We had an anniversary dinner out on the deck overlooking the patio and the food was delicious. However, the waiter was not very friendly. Maybe because we split our dinner and ordered the house wines. The breakfast buffet was again sensational. We hope to return soon.

We recently stayed at the Stallmastaregarden Hotel in Stockholm - once you get to the property - you feel like you're in the country rather than in a major city. While the hotel is not convenient for sightseeing, it is definitely unique and charming. The restaurant is wonderful as is the overall service at the property. My husband stayed at the property almost 20 years ago and had a much larger room. If you plan on staying for more than one night - I would definitely recommend upgrading for a larger room.

The hotel is in a beautiful and convenient location. The building is a historic venue for weddings and family parties. The rooms are beautifully designed. However, some of the rooms are near a noisy main road, and since we stayed in such a room during a heat wave, and the rooms have no air condition, we had to sleep with open windows and did not sleep very well. The breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant has a beautiful view. The free parking is a large plus.

Very friendly staff, the room was wonderful with everything we needed for our stay. Very beautiful scenery around the hotel, highly recommended a walk around the lake. Definitely planning to return in the future.

En natt vid Haga parken
Bra mat, trevliga personal, fina rum med bekväma sängar, fantastisk utsikt på Haga parken samt sjön, gratis parkering o bra läge precis vid Norrtull. Charmig , praktiskt och bekvämt. Bara positivt. Hitta ingen fel med stället.

Beautiful property on a beautiful setting. Less than 10 minutes to downtown by car. The staff are wonderful. The breakfasts are great. I will always stay here

When we sat down to eat, there were no forks at our table. When we went to see the staff about it, she initially ignored our request, and then finally just said "on the table!" We thought that was very rude. For the price we paid, we expected a lot better. We would not recommend this hotel.

The property is beautiful and walking distance to the city itself. But the room was stuffy, even with windows open- no air conditioning and it was 60 degrees out, so not even hot outside. The room we were given was listed as a junior suite, though I booked and paid for a Royal Suite through Expedia.

Enjoyable four night stay
Good location, but road alterations made access difficult. Room OK except for lack of usable drawer space. Minibar and safe provided, but no tea or coffee in the room. Food excellent, but evening meal a little expensive.

It was very cosy hotel, beautiful style and sooo cozy! Just one negative thing, my room felt cold, but I did not make an effort to ask the stuff if they can turn up the heaters higher, maybe it was possible to have it warmer in my room. I was anyway most of my time sightseeing Stockholm. If I would go to Stockholm again, I will book the same hotel. You can take a nice promenade from the hotel along the main shops and cafes-street leading up till Soedermalm.

It is a historical building and it has been maintained very well. The location, besides the lake, is extremely good. Rooms are clean. Food provided for breakfast and dinner were very good. The only limitation is a bit difficult to find for the first visit since the road is quite complicated.

Very pleasant hotel . Delicious food at dinner and wonderful breakfast. 10/15 minute walk to metro and then access to all of Stockholm. There is a bus connection 5 minute walk .

Overall service is lower than expected for a hotell as Stallmästaregården market itself to be. Low staff, check in experience was average, barely room service available, no spots in the restaurant. But room where nice and and beds were comfortable. Interior design is nice and hotell is well maintained.

Average place near Solna
The hotel does not have signage. So if you're walking from the airport bus stop, which is a short walk, you'll struggle to find the hotel. Also there's a cul-de-sac with multiple doors and pathways, and no sign for the door that leads to the reception either. The place is a heritage building converted to a hotel. I got the room next to the road, so that's a minus. The room has old/period furniture. I did not see a room heater in the room, the ones that are attached to the wall. It was the second week of November, so it got cold in the night. There's no water kettle in the room. The bathroom has separate taps for hot and cold water, so getting the right temperature takes some juggling. The breakfast is good. The restaurant overlooks the lake. The bus stop to take you into town or solna is close by. The hotel locks the main door in the night and you have to ring a bell outside to have someone open the door. I find that anxiety inducing. I got the room at a good price compared to the hotels at Solna. Overall an average place.
