Terrible.

Posted Nov 14, 2017
Dirty room hairs on bathroom floor. Didn't even shower there. Might as well have been camping. Noisy room. Last room by freeway. All night trucks. Beds are worn, old and uncomfortable. Disgusting. Bad choice on my part.

Dear Guest Thank you for your feedback. I am so sorry about your experience at the hotel. I will open up an investigation on my end and hold the team accountable. This is definitely not a La Quinta Standard. I appreciate your honesty and will be working very hard to address these issues. Thank you again.

Free breakfast?

Posted Nov 10, 2017
The hotel was not up to the standards we expect from La Quinta. It looked like a somewhat rundown motor lodge that had been rebranded. It would have been fine for a $60 hotel, but not for 100 bucks a night. And...the hotel advertised free breakfast. This was the most meager breakfast I have seen from any hotel, let alone what we've come to expect from La Quinta. There were frozen eggos, boiled eggs, bagels and yogurt. Pretty disappointing.

One night stay

Posted Nov 1, 2017
Convenient location with RV parking and dog friendly. Our room was the worst location, right where everyone exits the lobby to go to their rooms....and not quietly! So our dog barked at all the strange noises outside, including the person standing outside a room yelling at the person inside, and the cops that were involved in whatever was going on. The rooms smelled funny and the beds were not comfortable. They offer a free breakfast, if you can call it that. It was terrible! If you're looking for a place to sleep that has plenty of parking for your large vehicle, or somewhere that allows dogs, by all means stay here. Just don't expect a good night's rest with all the noise and lumpy beds. And take advantage of its proximity to many food locations and skip their included breakfast!

Pros: Location
Cons: Facility needs update. Better beds would be a good start. Outside area, walkway, dirty and unpleasing.
Room small, beds were old and marginally comfortable.

Terrible Property - Unsafe/Unclean

Posted Sep 25, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Rooms need to be badly remodeled/updated. Unsafe area - need security guard. Rooms were not well kept and were dirty.
I don't often give hotel reviews but felt compelled after our visit to the La Quinta Inn Stockton on 9/23/17. We were there for my daughter's softball tournament - our team was put at this hotel by the tournament's travel company. Where to start . . . it's a beat up, run down, old motel. Limited elevators (mostly stairs); all rooms/doors face the outside of the building (no interior hallways). Our room had a smokey, musty smell. Our friends said theirs was the same. Another teammate's room smelled like feces and had brown, dark stains all over the carpet and brown stained towels so I guess we got lucky? Property told them they were sold out and could not do anything - they were not apologetic and only offered for them to pick up clean towels from the front - UNACCEPTABLE! Our room was not very clean and my daughter did not want to get in the shower as it was visibly dirty. Outside our room (in parking lot) we experienced the following during our less than 24 hours there: 1) 3 hookers walking around 2) drugs being exchanged; 3) 2 men that "appeared" homeless/on drugs leaving the building around 7am holding cups/food from the hotel free breakfast who slipped through a hole in the back fence near where I was walking; 4) loud arguing at 1am requiring calls to the staff. I have complained to the company who manages the hotel rooms for our softball tournaments. I would NOT recommend this property to anyone, especially those traveling with children or alone. It's not clean or safe.
