“Lovely property and stay. Staff were helpful when needed. I didn't use the facilities; bar and dining so cannot comment on that but everywhere was very clean. No air con but there are fans available if needed.”

“Check-in and check-out were very smooth. The room was spotless and the amenities were excellent, including the well-stocked small fridge with food and snacks. The weather was exceptionally cold during our stay, and unfortunately the small heater wasn’t quite enough to keep the room comfortably warm.”

“This is a really quaint hotel, the rooms are lovely and the staff are friendly, I have stayed twice in the last couple of months when travelling for work. The pub is lovely too serving a vast range of beverages. I would suggest to the property (I haven't asked so not sure if it is an oversight but was the same on both occasions) only 1 towel (although lovely towels) per person and no hand towel, also, a shower mat for inside the shower and a towel for the floor as it is extremely slippery both……

“We had a lovely weekend at The Red Lion. The staff were incredibly helpful both ahead of and during our stay, and the pub food and breakfasts were very tasty. Our room felt a little dated and in need of maintenance in places, especially in the bathroom, but it served its purpose for our stay and we would be happy to go again.”
