Comfortable bed, quiet. Quaint, cozy. Good value for price. Would definitely come back for a longer stay.

Stayed a few times and meets my needs. Pleasent .

Location: Only use pubs in village...food is good, also a good spring board for exploring further afield .Nice little coffee shop in village as well.
Rooms are quirky and comfortable, but ready for minor maintenance work, but by no way an inconvenience. I will continue to stay at the Queens lodges . The new proprietor has changes in hand, and I'm sure this will prove to only enhance a stay in their rooms.

Pros: Position in the countryside. Scarecrow Festival run by the village - great fun
Cons: Breakfast would have been a good addition
Location: Quiet. As we expected
We arrived in middle of Scarecrow Festival but helpful in finding parking OK
