clean but small rooms. No one was at the main desk when checking in or out. Breakfast was a grab and go consisted of a small muffin coffee small granola bar and a small apple Our door didn't lock from the outside which didn't make us feel great when we left the hotel.

I booked a room that said 1 single with pet. I assumed the price was all included. But when i checked in i had to pay another $25. No where did it say extra fee for pet. Also NO breakfast it said breakfast included in site when booking. Needless to say I'm not happy. And not very friendly place.

When you make a reservation, the reservation only pays for the room. You are reserving a room that allows pets. You pay for the pet fee upon arrival. We also have continental breakfast. Sorry you missed it.

Excellent property if you have pets staying over! They are very mindful about entering the room and communicating with you. We went in the off season so the breakfast was grab and go and it was too cold to enjoy the pool. Very kind and responsive staff even though we checked in at 11:30pm!

The room was stuffy and had an odor to it. But we opened the window and aired it out. It was a cool breezy day so it helped. Water in tub was leaking and there was no body wash in the dispenser. I didn't complain because I had my own anyway. We checked out at 10a (checkout is at 11a). 30 min after checking out I realized I had forgotten my phone charger. I called to get it and they said the would look, but stated it wasn't there. I know 100% that I left it there (in room 214 in the outlet between both beds) because I had been charging my phone. The other outlets were not working properly. I was disappointed that I could not get my charger back even though it was still before checkout time. I'm trying to add a photo and it doesn't let me.

The place is a convenient location. It's across the street from a dispensary (Lume) and small casino if that's your thing. The convivence store a little further is reasonable with prices. You will need to ask for fresh towels and linen daily. It's located near a tourist trap that is Downtown Mackinaw City. You can walk there in about 20 min or drive in under 5 min. The pool is a nice place to hang out. The breakfast is horrid. The food is dry and has no flavor. You would be better to go to downtown and eat there. The prices at the restaurant aren't too high. Overall, it's a decent place to stay and the room was clean.

A couple of friends and I were walking the bridge on Labor Day. Spent two nights there. The room was clean, but one of the towels were dirty. I was just thrilled that they had a room with 3 queen beds. Had I look a little closer to the reviews , I would have booked elsewhere. The wi-fi was horrible. Didn’t work half the time.

The rooms are quite outdated and most appliances didn’t work. Front staff was often not there or didn’t answer the phone. The area is quite and calm, many things were walking distance. Fair warning in the summer if there are bugs outside your room, there will also be bugs inside your room :)

Clean and comfortable
The room was relatively clean except for a few squished bugs on the ceiling and a few cob webs. The shower was kind of wonky but I liked the fact it had body wash and shampoo dispensers on the wall. My husband appreciated the heater vent in the bathroom! The bed was extremely comfortable and clean as well.

Our room smelled overwhelmingly musty / old. Unfortunately given a room under the stairs so it was a noisy spot when people were on the landing above or stopped to talk right outside our room. Breakfast was decent. We were allowed to show up at midnight to check in which was convenient. Close to what we wanted to do / see so that was good.

Never again! The pool was dirty and cold despite being told it was a heated pool. I had two towels with stains on it. One of the 2 beds had a broken leg. The shower water randomly would go boiling hot or freeze cold in the middle of bathing without touching the faucet. The phone wasn't working. When I discussed the issues with the manager, she was rude and she had an excuse for all the probelms we had in the room and at the end she said there's nothing can be done.

Can be better
Personnel in office was fantastic. Every time I saw any other staff they looked grime and never smiled. Room needs updating badly. Microwave in each room would be good.

Don’t stay here unless you want to get accused of bringing roaches in the room. Took 6 teenagers on a trip to Mackinac for my daughter’s 16th birthday. Unfortunately I think what they’ll remember most was the room. There were stains on our bedding, hair in the shower, mold on the bathroom walls, no soap in the dispenser, and to top it off found 2 cockroaches in the room. Talked to the front desk and was basically told we brought the roaches in because we had our own pillows and that we weren’t working the soap dispenser correctly because their maids ensure there is soap in every room. I was pumping the dispenser and getting nothing but a single drop. This place and their staff are awful. Run! Just run now!
