*ENCLOSED pool *OFFSITE comp brkfst *flimsy roomPosted Oct 31, 2015 on Hotels
ROOM:VERYcheap;microwave, miniFridge, wifi useless after 8pm.Bed NOTcomfortable better than a camping mat. Wall heating unit diff to regulateone side of room hot other cold Room vac'd/cleaned but towel got stuck under bathroom door and YUCK. Bathtub seemed stained/gross-had enough hotwater&pressure. POOL: DISAPPOINTED"indoor pool".Is ENCLOSED in the middle Of Parking lot building of sliding doors&metal roof sitting on concrete in N.MI Indoor pool was cold weather/rain option;never took off my puffy coat&kids cold after 20mins.Book/phone risk of getting ruined from water dripping from roof. COMP BRKFST NOT IN SAME HOTEL-Have to walk 1/2 block to "C" then find the miniscule sign that leads you up a flight of stairs to large room. It had an egg substance (instant egg-gross yellow fluff. We skipped day 2 and paid $40 for a real brkfst. Overall, I was very disappointed but I was relieved I had cancelled my reserve at "C" since it turned out to be same comp brkfst and same pool situation and saved over 100 by doing so; not sure if room would have been better quality there. I personally would NOT stay here again unless $ became my issue as it was on this particular trip. In addition I would not consider "C" right next door either.

Worst ever!Posted Oct 27, 2015 on Hotels
Even though we got this hotel for a fairly low price, I still way overpaid. The "indoor" pool is in a greenhouse type building out in the middle of the parking lot. The free breakfast is at another hotel that you have to walk down the street to get to. The "private beach" is a parking lot behind the hotel. There were coffee marks on the counter before we ever had any coffee. The shower rod practically fell on our head. The massaging shower head didn't rotate to other settings, it just came off in your hand. The only good point was a fairly decent view of the lake.

Awesome staff and servicePosted Oct 27, 2015 on Hotels
Wanted a modest overnite motel with a pool & breakfast on a busy Friday in a resort town . Very happy with result. Hotel is getting dated but clean and well serviced. Beds were comfortable room was clean. Had some problems with getting room up to temperature as it hadn't been heated in a few days. Dylan the mainence man brought an extra heater and checked in numerous times 2 C we were comfortable

Nice place to stay. The outside needs some repairs but the inside of the room was nice and clean.

Close to Mackinaw IslandPosted Oct 22, 2015
Pros: Clean room
Cons: Better variety of breakfast buffet.
Location: Mackinaw Island Mackinaw City St. Ignace
My family stayed here while on vacation. The hotel is right on the lake. Our second floor view was exceptional. The onsite breakfast buffet helped make our trip economical. The room was clean. I recommend this hotel for family trips.

Stayed one nightPosted Oct 19, 2015 on Orbitz
This hotel did not meet my base expectations. The room would not heat up even though I had the heat on maximum heat. The TV lost cable connection. The room did overlook the lake but the window was so dirty, the view did not really matter. Breakfast was average.

Stay away from this place!Posted Oct 14, 2015 on Hotels
Room smelled like wet dogs combined with old socks and sweat. The room was dusty and dirty. The mattress was very well used, collapsing in the middle and way too soft, unsupporting. We'll never go back to a Days Inn!
