Great for viewing the truck show in September

They tried

First of all I'm pretty sure this was not the hotel I registered at on trip advisor. That being said, the motel is a bit run down. Hot tub not working and pool was green. Breakfast very sparse (cold cereal, toast). First room we checked into smelled like cig smoke but they willing switched rooms. Overall was not impressed.

Our hot tub is fully operational. The outdoor pool is closed for the season after Labor Day. Our breakfast includes yogurt, assorted cereals, fruits, coffee cake, muffins, assorted breads, bagels, oatmeal , milk and coffee. Smoking is not allowed in the rooms and we have not come across one that smells like smoke.

Beds are far too firm, uncomfortable.

Location: 15 min walk to town and shopping. 5 min walk to food, drink, and arnold or starline ferry.
Definitely needs some maintenance, our secondary lever lock was broken off and missing off the door. Just about every air conditioning unit had a full ashtray sitting on it. The shower had mildew growing on the walls. The sink, tub, and toilet were very clean, as was the room, but things bed and bedding were dated. We hada double bed room in the main, two story building while our family members had a single in the single story, which I assume was the original motel. The singles were much older looking and had an old wall heater on one side and an old wall air conditioning unit on the other wall. Each room hald a small dorm style fridge and microwave, which looked relatively new. They were just sitting on the floor, but it worked. This hotel is not on the water and is about a 15 min walk to town. Location was nice, but quality of hotel ws mid range. The biggest draw back was the bed. We would not return to this hotel.

Clean rooms, hotel is behind the times

Shower head is good if you are 5 ft. Tall. Sheets on the bed are all flat style so they come undone all night long. Pool is freezing, hot tub just barely warm. Breakfast...not the greatest. The room is clean. Hotel not luxury.

Good value for the money, but not spectacular.

We only stayed here because we were in town for "Mini on the Mack," which meant that all halfway decent hotels had sky-high rates. This is a bargain hotel, and the only good thing about it was that our hotel had three beds, making it ideal for families. If you can get a good price, and want to make it a bargain vacation, this is a good choice for the room size and the free continental breakfast. It's not bad, but I wouldn't likely stay there again.

The room was dirty, the floor's were not vacuumed,tub's dirty,just a rotten place to stay! No coffee pot or iron board...

Pros: NOTHING!! LEFT AFTER ONE NIGHT!!
Cons: EVERYTHING INCLUDING THE OWNER AND HER STAFF MEMBERS ATTITUDES!!
This hotel is awful!! The customer reviews online that I read prior to booking were excellent. The cleanliness of the room was fair. The indoor pool water was yellow. We were informed it was due to rust staining the walls. The hot tub was disguisting upon turning on the jets there was a fish odor along with unidentifed things under our feet. The outside pool had floaters. The swing set area had weeds growing all around it. The continental breakfast was a joke. Upon entering the room it smelled of cat urine disguisting!! There was a bread loaf pan with a peice of bread left in it with saran wrap on top looked as though it had been there awhile. We ate breakfast at a local restaurant in town as did other guests after viewing the so-called continental breakfast. The owner and her staff member at the front desk were extremely rude when hearing of our dissatisfaction. They were both standing outside in front of our room talking back and forth about us and also took pictures of the pools and hot tub!!! Very dissappointed!!
