Totally a sinus infection headache.
Check is was easy . Clerk was friendly. Beds looked new. The room Stunck of mold and mildew. Carpet by bathroom snows mold and age. Carpet really needs replacing. Woke up with a nauseous sinus headache. Still feeling sick hours later. If your planning to stay here ask the to air the room out in advance.
Mold in bathroom.
Mold growing in carpet.
Beds were comfortable and appear newer .

The property is good, I did not have any issue the room or the staff. But it did not had breakfast included as mentioned in reservation. Instead, They provide you with the coupon that says buy 1 get 1.

I called to let them know I would be arriving late. They asked me to call if I would be arriving ahead of schedule, which I did. I called 1.5 hours prior to arrival. I was then texted instructions to text or call 10 minutes before getting there, so someone could meet me. I texted and called and received no response. I had to drive around to find another hotel.

It was a nice room. Room was clean but I think house keepers forgot to check the mini fridge cuz when I opened it there was a carry out box in there still from the last person. No soap at the sink to wash ur hands had to take the one from the shower.

The staff members that I interacted with were very nice. The property itself is pretty worn and outdated. I had a queen suite with a jacuzzi tub. The mattress was awful. The carpet was very stained. The wallpaper was peeling. There were spider webs around the ceiling. The main surfaces seemed to be pretty clean but the floor under the bed and dresser was dirty and dusty and there was a small amount of trash under them. The tile around the jacuzzi tub was cracked and some of them were lifting up. The tub itself worked just fine. I filled it up and ran cleaner through the jets before I used it and nothing gross came out so I believe those are cleaned on a pretty regular basis. The fridge worked. Didn't try the microwave. Tv isn't fancy but it also worked. It didn't smell bad. I didn't see any evidence of bed bugs. The one thing that really impressed me was that I could barely hear my neighbors or any outside noise. But I wouldn't make it a point to stay here again.

This room and property is old and musty smelling. Bedspread had old stains. Asked for refund and told it was too late. Mounds of dog poop outside. Old and debilitated. Do not recommend.

I was not happy that management wanted to charge me $45.00 for my dog. Gentleman that chcked me in did reduce it to $27.25. The information on the website stated the hotel was pet friendly. It didn't say anything about charging me a fee based on how much my dog weighed. Our room was clean and I felt safe walking my dog, as the area outside was well lit. Thre was refrigerator, but no microwave but there was a large roo where one could microwave food. Orher than the outrageous pet fee, we were very satisfied with our accommodations.

High cost to being pet friendly
Please be aware that they say this is “pet friendly” but you pay by the pound of your dog. We paid $65 for the room and $70 for the 2 dogs. We were unaware of the added charge until we arrived (no cancel refund, we booked online). Then they tell you you’re not allowed to leave the pets while you shop or go eat. We were “allowed” to leave the dogs while we ate and went to casino this time (an hour or two max). We bring sheets to cover beds, our dogs never bark (we keep blink camera we bring on trips in room) and clean up after other dogs quite often when on our trips. We definitely will not be back to this property. There was a mildew smell in room, carpet was damp and the bed was discolored (yellowed) in spots under the sheets and bed skirt. Check out-we went to turn in keys and staff was not in the office. We went to put key cards back in room and the card suddenly didn’t work so I had to slide them under the door to leave them. I actually helped the neighbors get their card to work so I know it wasn’t me, the card didn’t work.

Cleanest in Town
This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Thunderbird, and plan on staying again. The staff are always so friendly and polite. It has been exceptionally clean both times we have stayed. Including under the bed. (Im a bit of a germaphobe and wipe everything no matter where I stay and there was not 1 spot of dirt on my wipes) We look forward to many more stays here.

Thunderbird Inn was away from the main walkable strip, which can be an advantage if you want to be access the businesses but have a little distance between your family and all the hustle. I'd say a 5 minute drive from any shops or attractions. This was in our favor. The room was slightly dated but clean and quiet which was exactly what we wanted. Unfussy. Good value. Would stay again, would recommend.

Warning! This company did not follow my reservation and scammed me out of $183.76 no show fee. All our guests did show and we paid in full our reservation but person at desk during check in added another room and didn’t take it off of our reservation. Called to correct the mistake but they wouldn’t. They knew exactly what they were doing. Terrible experience .

We'd come back!
The motel was a little dated, but very clean and convenient. It was nice to have the pool at a close by site since the one affiliated directly with Thunderbird was closed. It looks like it will be really cool when they are finished. We didn't have any complaints. I had let the hotel know we would be late coming in, but they called shortly before 11 to make sure things were going ok and I appreciated them reaching out to see if there was anything they could help us with.

Clean, but with a strong disinfectant smell. Quiet night. Bed is good, but there were several mosquitos in the room when I first walked in. For the price, it was a great deal.

I can't believe they charged $150-200 per night for what you get. This place doesn't even offer breakfast! Room condition was not so great. They did a quick paint job and lots of holes as well as leaks in the faucet. Fridge had mold in it
