Kees hotel is family run and has been for over 150 years. The parking was very convenient off street, the hotel inside is very homely with several places to sit around and read or just relax. The rooms were clean, comfortable and perfect for our stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful, would definitely stay again. JK.

Had a nice stay but the meal in the restaurant was a little disappointing. My friends had a few issues with their room - toilet seat broken and not very clean around/under the bed. However it has not put us off going back.

Trip around Ireland
Fab hotel in a place i had never heard about. Small village but excellent hotel. Staff were great and breakfast was superb. Shouldnt say this but the Snug bar two doors up is also nice for an early tipple. Will come back next time in Ireland and thanks for a great stay

Good overnight stay. Spacious rooms and comfortable surroundings. The mattress was harder than I would have liked but otherwise comfortable.

Our stay wasn’t bad or great, the property could do with some updating, beds were uncomfortable. But they staff were great. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel food was good.

Very Disappointing!
Hotel was ok, a bit run down. Evening meal was very disappointing no variety of vegetables, and cream of veg soup was powder soup. Waitress spent the whole time sniffing and coughing. Breakfast was buffet the first morning and quite good variety, however next morning no buffet and the reason was only a few guests, hence that speaks for itself. Very poor will not be back.

Average
Staff all lovely, think we were unlucky with our room 219, room very small but clean and bed was comfortable. However there was a continuous noise, like an extractor fan, which went on until midnight then started again about 7am. The shower was not at all good, very little power. Breakfast provided a good choice and whilst kept in warming containers it was not overly warm. As I said staff were all really friendly and attentive.

The room on first night was horrible. 1 part of the window was frosted,and looking on to some kind of shed and a dirty old drain . But I was changed to a much better room the next day . The hotel wasn’t busy so I’m wondering why they give me such a horrible room .

A few days away with my 2 boys 17&15. Mixed stay Positives - amazing staff, very friendly and engaging, tasty food Negatives - tiny TV only the same size as a laptop, tight on fries portions, no leisure center open on site, no sports on bar tv Although the leisure center was available to us nearby it should be made known in the booking information that none onsite are open. The staff made the stay pleasurable, but some investment is needed, like a decent tv and sports on in the bar tv

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble,the hotel was clean and tidy it restaurant is well worth a visit anytime and hopefully I will get back soon.

Place could do with an upgrade as the rooms are very tired & dated looking. Asked if we could have a room with a shower that was walk in & not over bath & was told by receptionist that our room (223) was one of the upgraded ones with new walk in shower. It wasn't plus the one that was over the bath was next to useless with zero power & a trickle of water coming out of it.

There were 6 people in our group, We booked two rooms. The accommodation is comfortable, not modern but fine, The room was relatively clean,but not exceptional. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, the food was good for the price charged. The pool is located 5 minutes away in a public facility. it was excellent but I would prefer have the facilities on site. When I visit Donegal again I will have no hesitation staying in Kee's.

Great service but room could have been better
We booked late in the day, arriving at the hotel about 90 minutes after making the booking. The receptionist was unable to locate our booking but we were given a suite instead of the double we had booked. Happy days. The room was nice, if a little dated. One of the sinks in the bathroom was blocked when we used it, and beard shavings, presumably from the previous occupant, started appearing out of the drain. Not lovely. Thankfully there were two sinks! We moved the coffee table in the room and found rubbish underneath it, so a more thorough clean probably wouldn't go amiss. Aside from that, the room was good, service was quick and friendly, and we'd probably stay again if we were in the area.
