A nice hotel
Hotel was nice and clean. Quite basic for the ££ to be honest - we were expecting a bit more. But as we were there for just one night it was ok. Main feedback would be to have some water available in reception (aside from the welcome bottle that’s there), and that the sofa in the family room was very uncomfortable and the bottom cushion’s continued to slip out. All in all though the staff were lovely, the location excellent and the bed comfortable. Only issue with location was how loud the church bells were - not great with a baby!

2nd time staying at this hotel and I was just as pleased. Great customer service, very clean and rooms (furniture, bathrooms, heating, TVs, etc...) in excellent condition, and nice variety breakfast buffet. The location is fantastic — just one block from main square in beautiful and picturesque Obernai.

First family vacation since the pandemic began
The hotel was ideally located, the staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. This was our first hotel stay since the pandemic started and we felt very safe there. Breakfast was great with a lot of choices.

Very nice stay!
Our stay was very good. The hotel is well situated withing easy walking distance of all restaurants and parking is very convenient.

Great location, right at the heart of pretty Obernai. The hotel itself is also beautiful, with modern interior. The room was very spacious with nice view.

Our Feb trip
Good to get an upgrade. Privilege rooms better. Only on fourth floor hence quieter as in middle of the town. We went out for breakfast as so many places to eat there. Great little restaurant literally round the corner.

great hotel!! the staff was so nice and our room was like a mini aprtment right in the center of town. clean, quiet, and so picture perfect. we will be back!

Nice hotel, good location
Perfect location. Rooms were a little bit small but not excessively so. Still comfortable and nice and modern. Charged me for a bottle of water which is a little tight! Nice friendly staff on check-in. Will return to this hotel on my next trip to Obernai

Great place for a stopover.
Good location for Obernai and walking distance to station to catch train into Strasbourg which is worth a visit. If eating out book your table in advance - they get very busy!

Satisfactory and pleasant stay
Room was clean and comfortable. We had a twin sofa bed opened and it made a lot smaller. Likes: heater rack in bathroom, attentive and helpful staff, centralised location in town, hotel has elevator. Dislikes: room too small for a family. It would be better to have a double and a proper single bed in the room.

Beautiful little village & lovely hotel, all great apart from wifi in room was a bit flaky , I had to connect in the lobby then take laptop to room, other than that fantastic, :)

An acceptable place to stay.
Nice clean hotel in the middle of an idyllic Alsatian town. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant or bar. The rooms are comfortable but very small. The staff is typically French, so don't expect too much in the way of service. They are polite and "friendly" but don't push them.

Nice hotel, quiet street close to centre of town
Very helpful and friendly staff. English not perfect but certainly good enough. We stayed 5 nights, and would not hesitate to stay again if we were in that area. If you need anything just ask (we were going to a wedding and needed an iron / ironing board.). No evening meals but lots of places to eat nearby, 5 mins walk. Recommend the Petit Casserole and Suzette's. At weekends you need a code for the front door if you were out after 11pm, remember to pick it up from reception through the day. If you have a try at speaking French, even if you are not very good, people really appreciate it.

alleged wrong hotel booking (July 18 -July 22)
when we arrived we were advised our booked hotei was 40km away...this was a sister hotel to the hotel we had booked,we could stay for one night when we had booked four nights. we would have to find another hotel,not what we expected,stressed out we did not get a good night sleep.I can only think an employee made an error,why would I book two hotels? the room we had for one night in the Colombier was good. next day they found my Expedia booking email and the problem was fixed. However we were charged £115 for not turning up at the wrongly booked hotel which we think is unfair! what do you think?

Good value in excellent location
Stayed there for four nights recently and found it an excellent base. The room was fine and the breakfasts were more than adequate. The hotel is in a prime location near the attractive square and plenty of good bars and restaurants.

lovely hotel good location
centrally located. We had a comfortable and very clean room in a separate premises ("Le Pavollon 7" belonging to "Le Colombier" but also offered separately) just across the street from the main hotel. Breakfast was good and is served in the main hotel building. Private parking is available but not for large cars .

Overall, great medium sized town. Nice hotel, great location. Sauna quite small but nice. Wish breakfast was included. Warning, hotel says open until 11 but staff leaves at 10 pm, so call ahead if running late.

Nice choice in a beautiful village
Stayyed here 1week while in area on business. Very helpful and friendly staff, nice clean room. Plenty of dining within the village, but don't expect typical French food, more like a French German collaboration - lots of pork, cheese and sauerkraut. Hotel has a garage, but it's tiny. Usually parked in the municipal lot nearby, which was free after 6:30PM. Only down side was streetnoise. Weather was beautiful, Sunny and mild, but leaving the windows open all night too enjoy it also allowed street noise. Hotel is in middle of the village, cobblestone streets and stucco covered buildings seem to amplify the tire noise from the cars racing along. Plus there are two sets of church bells going off 6AM to Midnight. Bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper

Modern, centraal gelegen hotel in leuke plaats
Vriendelijke receptie medewerkers. Schone en complete kamer en badkamer. Midden in het centrum, maar geen last van geluiden van buiten. We zullen graag weer komen!
