"Spur of the moment visit for me (and my dog), the experience right from entering the grounds was lovely. Everyone was extremely welcoming, with a glass of fizz and the hotels signature scent (newly arrived candles) which smelled amazing I felt right at home.
My room, Lavender Cottage, was spacious, very clean and had everything needed. Bed was very comfortable (firm mattress). Nice selection of teas along with family recipe shortbread.
Great offerings for breakfast with a nice view of the garden. A quick visit of the grounds (which the dog enjoyed) and beautiful chapel and my stay was over. I will defiantly return. "
