The amenities at the resort were great. Many areas to lounge, dining and bar areas were comfortable. The downside was the room - I shared a room with a coworker and we were placed in a room in a building next to the main building which not preferably but also not a big deal. However the room we were given had a single small window that faced the hallway. So anyone walking by could see into our room if we left it open. This was the only source of natural light, which was very minimal due to being in the hallway, so the room was always dark. That did not create a great vibe. The shower is...interesting. There is not a door to enclose yourself when taking a shower, only a single flexible glass wall on one side. it really hard to explain without seeing it. Nonetheless, the result is that water would get everywhere whenever we would take a shower.
I was here for conference so had to opportunity to check out other rooms that my friends stayed in and they were MUCH MUCH better. Better lighting, wider space, more comfortable beds, just a much greater overall vibe. And we paid the same price. It should not be this hit and miss if occupants are paying the same amount. Also we did not have any lotion in our rooms, which for a spa resort in such a dry environment, I found surprisingly. Bottom line - great if you get one of the better rooms. Okay to meh if you get the room I got.
