"Charming location ideal for exploring the Cotswold"
Nice hotel with cosy accommodation and good food at a reasonable price. We stayed for 2 nights but our room was not cleaned during our stay. Just waste bins emptied and towels replaced. The restaurant was short of staff especially on Monday morning for breakfast. Younger staff in the evenings struggled a little with understanding English.

"Welcome warm, but room cold"
Disappointed by the cold room on arrival - extra heater ( provided) had to blast to make it comfortable. We felt heating should have been put on prior to arrival. Room was clean and bed comfortable but a number of lights not working. Shower was difficult to learn how to make it function and drained poorly. On the plus side, the staff were very helpful and food good.

"First Class in every respect."
Having stayed in hotels all over the World, they all feel like hotels, this one however feels very much like home. Situated in the old market square of Nailsworth the setting was perfect. The staff were very attentive, always smiling and nothing was ever to much trouble. They had obviously been trained by someone who was very proud of his business. The food in the restaurant really was very, very, good and it was little wonder that there were no available tables. We will most certainly be re-visiting.

"Overnight stay in a truly historical building "
The history of this place is amazing & I am so pleased a written piece was an hand for us to read. Although updated Everything is kept in keeping with the building. Beautiful grounds. Good rooms. Exceptional staff who were ready to guide & advise. Food excellent. More signs would be useful round the building. Wifi is poor & not protected making access to secure sites impossible.
