Pool and Spa closed. Clerk checking us in stated it has been this way for some time. Sign stating they were closed were at the counter when we checked in. Was told it was stated on the website but that was incorrect. Manager was rude and told me we could have left and not checked in when we read the sign atvthe desk. We had a funeral to attend and had made the reservation a week ago. I cand a couple of days prior to checking and nothing was said about their being under renivation.

typical Hampton Inn but the pool was not available and I needed to ask for a bar of soap which was missing in the bathroom. It was clean.

Renovations were done where flooring was removed/ new flooring being installed in the hallway leading to the lobby. No advanced. notice was given to guests. Only access to outside through back entrance with ice and snow covered surfaces. Not convenient or acceptable for 86 year old handicapped man.

Newly renovated room was wonderful. The woman at checkin was very pleasant. If ever in the area again we’d stay here. The lobby was still under construction but wasn’t noisy for us in our room. Updating the hotel is always a plus, especially when it’s not noisy in the room.

Beautiful hotel near Old Sturbridge Village.
Great hotel near Old Sturbridge Village. The service us great and the rooms are immaculate, comfortanle and quiet.

Worst wifi ever
The place was clean and comfortable. But the wifi was unusable. I could not grt any work done or stream TV shows. If you need Wi-Fi, look elsewhere

Comfy beds/pillows. Our bathroom looked brand new! We appreciated the easy access shower. Only negative was the free breakfast. The cheese “omelettes” were dry & tasteless. But the lady in charge made sure all offerings were well stocked & the dining area was clean. We did appreciate the whole wheat bread for toasting.

a one night stop
a one night stop over at Hampton Inn gave my grandson time to play in the pool and order a local pizza.Very successful. The breakfast was buffet and perfectly adequate.

Front desk staff were very helpful and kind. Loved the pool and hot tub but the fans were so loud we couldn’t talk and I had to leave the pool area sooner than I wanted to. Kids loved the breakfast buffet and said it was clean and well stocked. Our room was quiet- yes there was a type of cleaner/chemical smell hoping it was the former! Bed was extremely comfy! I would probably stay again if I’m in the area.
