Clean, comfortable hotel close to the highway

On our drive home to Pittsburgh from Bar Harbor I started looking on my phone for somewhere around Sturbridge thinking it would get us in around 6 to stop for the night. We had to make the decision of $55 for a Days Inn or spring for $119 ($134 after tax) for the Hampton Inn...it was our last night of vacation and we hadn't been able to swim all vacation so we opted for the Hampton Inn. This hotel is right off the highway so it was very easy to find, parking is plentiful and well lit. I booked through Expedia so when we got there we were checked in within 2 minutes, they have a large hot beverage bar right inside the door and the lobby smelled like fresh baked cookies. I booked the 2 queen beds room rather than the king sized bed because it was a little cheaper. Our room was large and very clean with lots of little extras; a nice sized fridge and microwave, a coffee maker with coffee packets and creamers, typical toiletries in the bathroom. The beds were comfy with lots of pillows as well as an extra blanket in a vacuum bag in the closet and the AC did a good job of making the room really cool. The shower has 8 different settings for the shower stream and we had plenty of hot water and lots of towels. They have a charging port on the nightstand with space for 2 plugs and 2 USB's which is a nice feature since it seems like we keep traveling with more and more stuff that needs to charge.
