Clean, functional for business trip

Business trip. Staff very helpful booking taxis and other services. Rooms are relatively no-frills (don't expect conditioner, bath robe, or the like), but very clean and functional. And free wifi was good.

Terrible

Pros: as the same wth Mecure Messe had nice airport like trolleys you could wheel to your room. nice breakfast and food service staff.
Cons: Communication skills as in the obvious and some sense of making a minority guest feel welcomed, bigger gym?
Location: 2 small noisy roads that caused you to wake up in the middle of the night. small pizza/ italian food shop near by.
I had 2 bookings with this hotel from 24 Sep,2016 - 26 Sep,2016 and 29 Sep,2016 - 1 Oct,2016. Poor check in experience , rude staff and was very disappointed with communication skills of Ms Anja SXXX (front office manager). I had attempted to check in on the 24 sept @12 pm and was notified that check in was only upon 3pm. so this info was communicated to my partner who proceed to do so. The hotel had at that point misplaced my booking, which they had recovered towards the end of the night. Upon requesting additional 2 pillows and 2 towels I was notified to do a self collection from the reception counter. Well fair enough. Now i was starting to understand the curt approach towards service. During my unhappy 2nd stay on the 1 October 2016, I had gone down for break fast at 6.30am and was notified, No breakfast on week ends at 6.30am as we only serve break fast at 7am sharp, not 1 min earlier ... there was 20+ people waiting at the tiny lobby. upon asking for a slightly late check out of 2pm, the FOM had stated NO. We can't , we have a whole group booked in at noon and we are over booked. You have to leave by 11am. Very shocked

Please excuse the misunderstanding about our opening hours in out Restaurant and the Check out Time, but it is right, the described hours are the correct opening hours. As well we always try to realize a late check out, but this depend on our actual booking Situation, because the new guest wanted to check in as well at 15 hours. Clean, but weird

Decent. The use of green and red color deco at the hallway makes it a bit weird. The wordings on the wall are weird too.

Great hotel and location

Very nice hotel in residential area close to the motorway - my favourite in the area. Nice bar and restaurant - good breakfast. Other restaurants and large shopping center a short walk from hotel and town center just a couple of kilometres away with nice bars and restaurants if you are staying a few days.

Decor is not to everyone's taste

Pros: Restaurant, fab neon lit bar - staff amazing.
Cons: Tone down the decor!
Location: The Brunningerland (sp?) is great shopping mall, walkable or 2 stops on a bus for €1.20. The pool at sister hotel only just worth the walk.
The lobby, bar and restaurant are excellent, there is an Argentinian Malbec which is outstanding the filet steak amazing - no need to go out. Staff are superb. The room was supposed to be premium but pared down Euro styling bit jarring for my taste. Like being in a cross between an Ikea set and a careers office! Motivational words on the ceiling! Say no more! One problem, I booked 2 months in advance but on departure my partner offered to pay and instead of transferring my rate over the hotel charged the prevailing higher rate for that day. No argument when I brought it to their attention but as always check your bill. I'd go back for the location, the staff and the restaurant.

Mercure Hotel

The overall experience was a good one. The wireless internet connection was not good and presented challenges to getting work done. I understand the need to conserve power, but the current policy prevents you from charging items while away from the hotel, again, making work from the hotel difficult to manage.

Great Stay

Stayed here during Volksfest in Stuttgart. Although it's pretty far from the grounds the hotel was comfortable, internet was fast, and staff were friendly.
