Worst experience ever, worst front desk staff..
Posted Sep 20, 2016
I just visited the hotel very recently with my family (4 people) and had a one night stay.
We arrived at the hotel at around 11 pm as our train got delayed in Paris. We had an early morning flight so we had to leave the hotel by 5 am. Since we had an international flight and we travel with staff tickets, our luggage was quite a lot. So, we got some of our friends to help us bring our luggage to the room. The guy at the front desk followed us to the room and comes in RUDELY and says "why are there more than 2 people in the room?". I told him that they just came to help us with the luggage since we had around 10 pieces and we were only 4. I explained that they are just placing the luggage and leaving. What he said next was just shocking. He said in a very rude way that they need to leave right now or else I will call the police and KICK you out of the hotel (yes these were his words). I was shocked at first and then asked my friends to leave (they were going anyways but this just was not acceptable from the front desk guy).
This is not just it, once my friends left, he actually told me NOW I WILL COME TO BOTH THE ROOMS INSPECT YOUR LUGGAGE. He then came to our rooms (one for my parents and one for me and my wife) and searched as If he was the police and had a search warrant. After all the insult, he leaves. I even noted down the person's name but due to Expedia's policy I can't write down here. I want the hotel management to look into this matter and REFUND MY MONEY.
