Clean, good location, but exceptionally loud

Our room was clean and very comfortable, located walking distance from many restaurants and bars in downtown Sudbury. Our biggest issue is that the room was unbelievably loud; we could hear every footstep in the hallway, every door knock, and worse - we could hear even the quiet conversation coming from the room next door. We could also hear them using the bathroom (not just normal water sounds, everything)! We called down to the front desk after our first night to ask to move to a quieter room and the person and the desk said she would call back in 5 minutes. She never called back and we gave up and stayed in the room. Had it been quieter, we would have had an excellent experience at this hotel.

Great Hotel for Staff Event

Pros: Banquet Facilities, pool , in house restaurant
Cons: Housekeeping hours and quality .
Location: Great location close to everything .
We decided to stay at the Raddison because of a staff event that was happening at the hotel. The banquet facilities were excellent all staff were great including the front desk . Only a few small issues , we received a room with 2 Queens instead of the business room booked online with a couch although we paid the upgrade fee to have this. our second issue was with Housekeeping, we had not been asked if our room required housekeeping for our second day stay and they decided to vacuum the hallway at 9:15 PM on a Sunday night . Even with the two minor issues the hotel provided many great amenities and the banquet and front desk staff were great .

Old Hotel Expensive and no comp breakfast

Cons: Serve complimentary breakfast
Location: no restaurants near by..
room near elevators..... noisy Old Hotel.... expensive for what you get

Down town Sudbury but out dated

Tough to find parking space, rooms and bed are comfortable but the whole hotel needs to be updated, repainted maybe some new carpets . Friendly staff , but over priced for what you got. Won't stay there again

Nice place to stay downtown

It was a good stay and very very nice staff. Few young guests who were running around the hotel making noise but the security quickly got them to calm down .

Convenient downtown location...clean, comfortable

Two night stay...check in went quickly...staff was friendly...parking is a bit of an issue as the overflow on the upper story is a bit of a hike to the room. I was able to grab a spot on the lane beside the hotel...that is also hotel parking but overlooked. Place was full with a Christmas party for adults and kids which caused me some worry but by 10:00 security had clamped down on any boisterous activity and I slept well. My room was well appointed and clean (fridge and microwave) and had a great bed and excellent shower. The heating system is wall controlled and regulates the temperature well. Did not use in house restaurant as there are several great speciality restos nearby. I would stay again.

Night front desk man was very rude! Checked the bed linens when arrived in room and found the sheets stained on the queen bed plus hair that was not mine on the sheets. Had to sleep in the double bed and it was very squeaky. Hotel itself was clean but very tired. Parking was a long walk away. Had to download a app to order room service, didn't bother. Was not impressed at all! It makes me think twice about booking hotels with expedia if this is what I fine on your Web site.
