WE booked a 60s break in February with low expectations having read reviews. THe staff, great live entertainment and food all exceeded these. THe mattress was thin, plastic covered but we went prepared with extra topping , pillows duvets and slept well.We could hear noise from neighbours talking . ...
Really nice old world hotel. Dining area, bar, sitting rooms are all furnished in a traditional and luxurious manner. The rooms are furnished similarly and are nice. The single room was average sized, good bath facilities, comfy bed. Limited desk space, so it was difficult to operate a laptop. No ...
Reception helpful and friendly. Hotel might be considered by some as a little dated, but we liked it. Room a little small but clean and well specified. Great position for shops and beach. Food very good. enjoyed breakfasts and dinner Really enjoyed our time there. .
Pleasant welcome large room, comfy beds for the family, wifi for our youngsters to access, clean room overlooking the see. As a family ... both ourselves and extended family have stayed here before and have more bookings later in the year. , Plentiful Breakfast catered for everyone .
Hotel is very nice, right on the seafront, so would recommend a sea view room. Bar and restaurant area great, had a huge plate of fish and chips at a reasonable price, would also recommend. Room was ok, but in need of a little more modernisation . Am likely to stay again.
A warm welcome from Bob started our excellent stay at Chiltern House. Great local information, clean, stylishly decorated room, delicious food. If you want a B&B in Lowestoft you are unlikely to find one finer.
Very impressed overall. Room was clean and a decent bathroom. Good quality bedding. Quiet overnight. Staff very friendly polite and helpful. A great full English breakfast with quality ingredients and we have had much worse breakfasts in hotels charging much more. Nice bar and dining room. OK the ...

We were a bit surprised to find the hotel next to a busy road, however the other side looks across Oulton Broad, a lovely place to watch the boats go by. We had a lovely cruise through to the Waveney and enjoyed the large park near the Hotel, with an interesting Museum and a nice Cafe. The breakfasts ...
Lovely hotel slightly older clientele but lovely. Fab breakfast. Bed a bit small but lovely room. Deliveries at 6am bit noisy.
Room had been recently modernised and part-redecorated, it was very comfortable and clean. Meals at the hotel were a bit on the expensive side but were acceptably tasteful rather than outstanding. The public areas of the hotel maintain some of the old-world character of the an old inn but are a bit ...
