Very Nice Hotel

We had a wonderful room and had plush pillows and bedding. Loved this hotel

Some things need attention

Outwardly the hotel appears newer or renovated. Check in process was fine. On arriving to our 2nd floor room, we found it was ADA specific. Not necessarily an issue, just seemed strange they'd waste it on us, as the hotel didn't appear full. Rooms were decent, beds were OK. Didn't notice till the 2nd night but the cover for the box spring on one of the beds had what appeared to be a blood stain on it. The sofa bed had crumbs in it when pulled open, and the mattress was older and dingy with visible springs. We closed it and didn't bother asking for sheets. The windows had sheers in the middle section, but the heavier curtains did not extend to cover. For a 2nd floor room, this is a privacy issue as the HVAC unit constantly blew the curtains open. The restroom was mostly clean, however there were a couple of stains on the toilet seat/lid. The toilet seat had white tape around it, which I guess was to cover a crack? This didn't seem very sanitary to me at all. Luckily I travel with disinfectant wipes. The restroom also had an unpleasant odor, like cheap hospital disinfectant or something. The window HVAC unit was noisy and the vents need a thorough cleaning. Also, not sure why there was also a thermostat on the wall as it didn't seem to be connected to anything...it wasn't until the room stayed cold after adjusting the t-stat that we realized we'd need to use the window unit. As it was a pretty cold weekend, we had to run it pretty much the whole stay.

Unprepared

Wasn't able to check in after the check in time. Had to wait an extra 2 hours before my room was ready.

Low budget

It's clientele is about a 2 star ⭐️ Not a place for me. Lack of cleanliness located across the street from hospital I was there for a funeral

Nicer than expected

Pros: Newness and cleanliness of facility.
Cons: Breakfast bar was OK.
Location: Hotel is close to I-664 and just 10 minutes away from anything in the Chesapeake Bay area.
This hotel is pretty new, very neat and clean and a great staff. Had no issues during my stay and was impressed at how nice the facility was for the price. Breakfast wasn't more than the basics you would expect for free, but I would recommend this place. Very quiet and on a large piece of property with no busy roads or any outside noise. Check in staff had my reservation ready when I walked in. Just had to initial, sign and pay and was on my way. Great experience.

Kid friendly

Breakfast wasn't te best but beside that everything else was perfect. They supplied us with an extra crib and crib sheet. Help with any question we had and the staff was extremely generous.
