Nice hotel close to lots of amenities

I enjoyed my stay here and would visit again, there was plenty of restaurants near by and the hotel was easy to access. The internet was slow at times but overall a great place to stay.

Great location by creek

We had a room on the back side of the hotel, facing the creek. It was so nice in such a big city. Hotel needs and is doing more renovations.

Worse than a motel

For some reason, I thought Extended Stay was a mid-market brand, but this is a dilapidated roach motel. The water runs in the shower and can't be turned off, carpet stains, nasty smell in the room, pillows and sheets that are decades old, towels that are like sandpaper. You can't go any more low end than this place. However, the neighborhood is nice and there are a lot of great restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Pros: Convenient location.
Location: Many restaurants and shops nearby. Easily accessible to downtown Salt Lake City.
Traffic for Chick-fil-a drive through sometimes made arriving and leaving parking lot difficult. Breakfast choices very limited. Amenities lacking or low quality (towels, for example)

We stayed in a pet friendly room with our two dogs. I get that animals occupied the room, but the room was filthy. It was obvious the carpet had not been cleaned in forever. Stains and smelled like urine. Unfortunately, only pet friendly room left.

Hotel close to hospital

We arrived late at night to check in, but needed to check our daughters in before my husband took me to the emergency room with complications from my cancer. There is not a 24 hour front desk and had to wait for someone to check us in. As we were driving around the parking lot looking for the room, the front desk person followed us out to our room and approached us in the dark. He was inappropriate and rude. The room did not match the pictures, the bathroom was dirty and hair in the shower. The floors were also sticky.

Cheap rates, but you get what you pay for!

Super friendly staff and really clean room. Asked for extra pillows to elevate my elbow and they brought them to me. Beds where not comfortable and the shower lacked water pressure and heat:(

Rough start to an ok stay.

We had a few problems at the start of our stay, that effected my overall rating. First we were unable to enter our room. After some help from maintenance they finally got the door open. Then the room was overly warm, and the AC didn't work. Eventually, we were placed in two rooms since there wasn't a room that could accommodate my entire family. The only bright side was that the one employee working was nice, professional, and I could tell he was trying his best. The rooms were fine, if slightly dated.
