Horrible customer service

Pros: I used to like it because it was clean but after my experience, I do not think it's worth staying here. Their breakfast is good but that's about it.
Cons: Cleanliness, customer service, friendliness, accountability.
Location: Town Square in Sugar Land.
Worst customer service: 1. I walked into a room that already had someone staying there. 2. When I told staff, they didn't apologize, it took them 30 minutes to find me another room (already paid for!), and gave me the first available which hadn't been clean. 3. I asked to have the room cleaned (and received an attitude from the lady at the front) because I found a hair on the hand towel. The floor was also dirty (hadn't vacuumed), as well as a stain on the sheets (gross!), and the shower had water drops all over. 4. When I returned (I was gone from 9 am to 9 pm, so they had plenty of time to clean the room), the hair was still on the hand towel so I knew they hadn't cleaned the room. 5. I spent an hour on the phone (from 9 pm-10 pm) arguing with the staff about the cleanliness of the room and having walked into another room that was occupied by a stranger (they said it wasn't logged in to the system and that's why the mistake happened.) Not once did the offer to comp my stay, or apologize for their negligence and unhygienic service. I will never be staying at this Hyatt again and I do not recommend it to anyone! Their customer service is apalling AND they lie. They initially told me they couldn't comp my stay because I booked on expedia but after arguing with them and seeing how upset I was, they eventually comped it. Stay away if you do not want to deal with this kind of rude hospitality and dirty rooms. They DO NOT care about their customers.

Clogged shower drain, no complimentary waters, no active bathroom air vent, a hard king bed, and an annoying eco-light feature. Good buffet.

I did not choose the box for two double beds when I booked the room in Expedia. The front desk had to help me change my room. We appreciate it very much.

I’ve previously lived in Houston more than 20 years. The hotel is nice, clean , and a very good location to shopping and eateries. The price is very good for the location.

The Hyatt Place Sugar Land is a modern, well kept hotel. Staff is friendly, hotel is clean and inviting.
