Performed an instant U-turn after checking in.
I checked out immediately after being checked in at this Hotel as I did not feel comfortable in the environment. Also I was assigned an outrageously large double-room on the 4th floor in a building without an elevator. This hotel certainly does not qualify to be a 3-star hotel. It was in fact as if I was not expected despite the fact that I had made and paid for this reservation over six weeks before my arrival. Fortunately I was able to secure accommodation for my 11-night stay in Istanbul paying similar rates at two hotels that were I think probably also 3-star bur more centrally located and better equipped and furnished. Although the booking was made on a non-refundable basis. I expect that in the circumstances I would be paid a refund of the amount paid as I had to pay all over at the hotels I stayed in. I also suggest that expedia should carry out independent discrete investigation of the hotels they book people into.

Great location, not so great accomodation
The room was comfortable, neat and clean. We were forced to make the payment a day before the actual check out since nobody was going to be in the front desk the next day. The cable TV did never worked in one of the TV sets despite our repeated request to fix it.

Convenient nook
As we were accompanied by our eighty year old father our priority was a place near the Blue mosque,that we got.The place does need some repairs and the street outside needs maintainance.However, Mr.Ali was quite helpful.He let us choose from the two rooms that he had I thought that was a good.We didn't mind the small irritants as the city of Istanbul is a place that will remain in your memories for a long time.

The staff are nice but their English is not too good, communication barriers may arise. The airport shuttle service is also risky, we booked a car at a time slot suggested by the hostel staff but at the end, we arrived the airport late and missed our flight.

Great Location - Impossible To Find
WARNING - there is no sign on the outside of the building indicating that this is a hotel. Not even the hotel right next door knew they existed. It took two phone calls to find the hotel after the taxi driver gave up and basically told me I was on my own to find the place. The sign on the building says it is "The Anatolia Travel Agency" and the entrance is below street level. I have stayed in hotels all over the world and wasn't expecting a five star hotel like you would find in London or New York. This is the first hotel I have booked online outside the U.S. where I felt that the site and other reviews over-stated the star level. Staff was friendly with okay English skills but they really aren't hoteliers. This seems to be a side business for them. The room itself was clean and serviceable but that's it. Safe was locked when we got there and the staff had to get unlocked for us which involved calling someone in. Shower spray bracket was broken which made showering difficult. Even though a non-smoking room, the smell of smoke came through the AC units. Still a metal key for the door - no electronic locks. All little things that added up to a not so great experience. On the positive side, each time I walked towards the blue mosque I stopped for rose flavored ice cream at a small stand. :-)

Only Ali at the front desk is friendly, room had a foul smell coming from bathroom. It described there were washing machine but not in all rooms. Also had no breakfast served for over two years. On their web page it offers free pick up at the airport, but if you booked through the internet they refused to offer the service.

Hotel in lovely location close to the sites
Small hotel on four floors in an excellent location. Close to the Blue Mosque (5 minute walk) and Little Aya Sophia. Quiet street with a little shop for groceries on the left down the hill and plenty of places to eat. The staff are helpful and welcoming. The rooms are clean and tidy. My room was on the 4th floor (no lifts) and is a single room turned into a double with a new extension which is like a conservatory. It gave lovely sea views but was very hot and the light was glary, I suspect that even with the air con it will be too warm in the summer months so probably best to chose another room.

Great location in the heart of SultanAhmet with close reach of the all the famous historical sites, Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Bascila. Metro links are also nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly and helped where they can

Comfortable hotel
The hotel was within walking distance to all the tourist attractions. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely use again. Suggestions for improvement would be to add the basic washing facilities eg fairy liquid and scourers etc.

Mixed feelings
We stayed here 3 nights & we were given a lovely room on the first floor which we were delighted with-it was very comfortable, clean & spacious. We were a family of 3 adults & 2 babies. The following day, we were asked would we mind moving to a room on the top floor with its own private terrace, because they had a guest with a disability staying. We assumed the rooms would be similar and & agreed to move.Upon arriving upstairs we realised it was actually a smaller suite. I spoke to the manager on duty and expressed our dissatisfaction with the room. She basically told me she had no other option of where to place the other guest & offered us a discount instead. Although my mother in law does not have a disability, she's not exactly young & had a hard time managing the narrow stairs to the 5th floor. The terrace outside our apartment had a lovely view & we ran into many of the hotel guests who were told they could also come up and use it. On our last night, we had to ask a couple of them to please keep the noise down as we had an early flight and 2 babies sleeping in the room. My advice to the hotel would be not to accept bookings from guests with special needs if they do not have the facilities to accommodate them. I felt it was extremely rude and unfair to ask us to move rooms and made to feel guilty when it was due to poor management of the hotel bookings system. We were compensated by the hotel paying for our hotel transfer, but we will unlikely stay here again.

Convenient neighborhood to Blue Mosque. They double booked our room, so for the first two nights we had to stay in an apartment they found for us. While it was nice that they did find us a place, it was a burden to pack up and move during the middle of our stay in Istanbul. The hotel staff was friendly.

Wer nur übernachten will und absehen kann das die Zimmer zu klein ist die Putze nichts alles ordentlich sauber gemacht hat . Dennen kann ich es empfehlen sonst Finger weg. Ahja wifi war bombe !!!

pour le prix on peut trouver beaucoup mieux
la chambre été sombre mal aérer, des draps et des serviettes déchirés , globalement propre mais étroit surtout après les travaux de séparation dans le hall entre la kitchinette et les deux lits. le service est bon , mais pour le prix ont peux trouver des hôtels dans la zone très intéressant.

Prenotato prepagato a prezzo scontatissimo, posizione ottima rispetto alla zona monumentale.Passando il 90% del tempo in giro, la scelta e' stata ottima. Le suites sono tutte uguali, quella a piano terra ha un cortiletto con tavolo e sedie. Le scale sono strette e scomode, no ascensore. Il cucinotto: poca dotazione, nessun accessorio(asciugapiatti, sapone, scottex); tra le due piastre e il microonde, si puo' scaldare qualcosa e c'e' un piccolo frigo, e anche la lavatrice (comprando il sapone).L'arredamento e' vecchiotto e un po' arrangiato, ma il letto e' comodo e il bagno ampio. Mancavano due lampadine, non sostituite. L'ultimo giorno si e' rotto il water quindi abbiamo dovuto aprire e chiudere l'acqua tutto il tempo. C'e' sempre qualcuno alla reception e si puo' lasciare i bagagli in custodia se si parte tardi. Abbiamo prenotato con loro il tour in barca sul Bosforo,risparmiando 10 E (35 euro, transfer e pranzo incluso). Conviene richiedere il transfer da e per l'aeroporto (25 euro a vettura/tratta, in van) un taxi puo' costare una fortuna se c'e' traffico, e difficilmente il taxista conosce tutti gli alberghetti di cui la zona e' piena. Consiglio questo residence se si e' a basso budget e si vuole abitare in centro, senza troppe comodita' ma decentemente. Le pulizie vengono fatte tutti i giorni.

Ideliga elavbrott minst 5-6 st på en vecka, visa över halva dagen. Betalade för 45 kvm men rummen var betydligt mindre ca 32-34 kvm klagade men ville ej ge rabatt pga rummet var mindre än betalat för...skulle ha bäddsoffa... fanns ej, liten runt bord o två stolar, elplattan fungerade ej hade ingen I reserv heller att byta ut den till. köksfläketen fungerade ej...dåligt med toalettpapper, taket var snedtak och var ca 185 som lägst. böneutropen kom från högtalare I direct närhet, mycket högt ljud.utlovade transferflygpriser stämde ej fick betala 25 euro för transport vid anländande till hotel från anaturk och från andra flygplatsen fick man betala 75 euor för två vuxna o sexårigt barn. inte direct billigt då 13 t-lira och 25 t-lira utlovades I annonsen per person transferresor till flyget. ett som var bra var läget gångavstånd till alla sevärdigheter.blev också utan vatten en kväll på översta rummet..men dfick det åter efter tre timmar. Betalade ca 1000 kr per natt och det var för mycket för detta hotel och dess standard..:-(

1人で泊まりましたが、部屋にシングルベットが２つにタブルベットが一つ、ソファーやテレビ、キッチン、バスタブもついていて、1人には大きすぎました笑快適に過ごせました。スルハトメット駅から少し歩かなければならないのとホテルから、駅に向かうのに坂を登らなければならないのが少し気になりました。あとホテルの場所がわかりにくいので、行く前に地図なのでしっかり確認したほうがいいです。

Anatolia Suites ist sehr nah zu Sultanahmetmosche.
Nette Personal immer hilfsbereit.Mitten Sultanahmet.Zur Moschee braucht man zu fuss wirklich einpaar Minuten.Mein Zimmer war mit terasse blick direct Meer.Hinten sogar Sultanahmetmosche zu sehen.was braucht man mehr wenn man in Istanbul ist.Sehr günstig habe ich dieses Zimmer für 5 Tage bezahlt.

Appart hotel de belle qualité et bien placé
Arrivée très tard dans la nuit 23H30 et un accueil impécable. Réponses à toutes nos questions même si besoin de traduire, super. Petit mais tout le confort et une salle de bain très agréable Et l'emplacement rien à redire surtout pour venir après une visite longue et besoin de quelques repos et grignotage. Très recomendable

Отличное расположение в самом сердце Стамбула.
Прекрасные апартаменты. Приехали вечером, очень быстро заселили, номер был на самом верхнем этаже и соответствовал описанию. На самом верхнем этаже, где и располагались наши апартаменты была прекрасная трасса с видом на море, на которой можно было позавтракать или поужинать и полюбоваться закатом! На ресепшн были очень дружелюбные ребята, готовые ответить на любые вопросы. Все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности, если хотите посмотреть историческую часть города Стамбул-вам в Anatolia Suites!

Ein Wechsel vom Anatolia Suites in das zweite Hotel der Besitzer Antatolia Suites St. Sofia wurde uns in aller Selbstverständlichkeit ermöglicht, da wir den Wunsch nach einer Familiesuite mit einer besseren Aussicht äusserten. Das Personal ist ausserordentlich freundlich, kompetent und hilfsbereit. Die Aussicht gut, die Lage zentral und ruhig. Das Hotel St. Sofia ist ausserordentlich charmant. Eines der wenigen noch erhaltenen Holzhäuser.

Idéalement situé près des sites touristiques. Situé dans une petite rue ps trop bruyante. Personnel disponible et sympathique. Un seul bémol: le petit déjeuner pas assez varié.
