3 days of hell

I book room throw expedia when arrive at hotel ,happend some mysterious story and basically i stay without room cos hotel was overbooked. Owner offer me to move in other place but i chose wht i chose and i paid full amount. After few min owner find room for me... after few min again he offer to move me to live with her cousin in guest house.. am ask refund of money.. after few min again he found room... after again he told me drunk guest sleepin in my room and he not goin out.. and all this story was look like hell of crap. It was rain..cold..i was hungry ..and tired. Finnaly he giv me room. Room was small.. really small even for me 57 kg girl..its small. Can't wash face in bathromm properly. Anyway next day i got my breakfast its was ok, but i like have warm and havy breakfast with omlet and sosages. In the way out owner make very offensive joke about me cos i take cheapest room in his hotel. Btw i live on The Palm Jumeirah Dubai. Was in Stambul fot transit. When i back i didn't find tv. I even not askin. Cos maybe owner take tv from my room cos i live in cheapest room and tv its kind of luxery for me. Next morning on breakfast owner told me why i broke tv. Wht really insulted me. Am not even usin it. He say i broke it on the floor. When i suggest maybe maids can did cos obviously she clean room and might by chance. He said -no- its ofcourse I am the one who did it..i can't wait to get out from this place cos its was tooo much for me , paid 70 $ for 3 days of hell

Firstly we thank you for choosing and staying in our hotel, what you wrote on your comment about us and about hotel may be is not all true, nobody besides you was not unsatisfide in our hotel. All the guests are liked and satisfied. We treated you very graciously even for broken TV we did not asked any payment from you. Befor the booking room in our hotel you have read the conditions of the hotel and room details. There are everything is clearly written how many meters. You yourself have chosen this room. When you arrived to hotel we offered you to have a rest a little bit in terras your room was ready we did not tald you that we are full or we do not have room for you. That was a wrong. Best regards

Good centrally located hotel

This is a well run hotel close to the main attractions. The room was small but adequate.

Stay away from this hotel

Slow wifi, meagre breakfast, heat not working in some rooms, hot water not working in some rooms, sewage smell in some rooms. Please choose another hotel in the area. There are lots of hotels in the same area, walking distance to all attractions for a little more or same cost.

Dear Guest , Our hotels renovated in 2016, we changed everything in the rooms and in the hotel.Everything is new. Doors,Bathrooms, Room Decoration..... Hot water is working every day. Rooms are keeping warmer every day because central heating and air condition was working. We are hotel and all the information about us written in this websites. If you didnt read it what we can do... If you wish 5 stars hotel services why you booked this hotel ?? Also After you left, you wanted stay one more time in our hotel so you booked extra nights .. We didnt understand you anymore. why you give wrong information .. if you write true( what you had expreince ) we would be happy, but .... We have around 35 kind of things for Breakfast ... After Breakfast you told us ,'' so delicious thank you''.... Also we didnt have any complain from my other guests about it. Everyday , you rooms changed we gave you better rooms with view for you without extra money. why you didnt give this information??? There are differen kind of hotels in Turkey. If you wish many things you should book 5 stars hotels. We recommend you before booking read details of hotel after book it. We wanted to tell you , please give true information for other travellers. Also while you were stayed we had guests also they didnt complain like same as you... everybody gave information what they have expreince.. Best Regards, Ararat Hotel....

Third grade hotel in first grade location

I had booked two rooms for 4 nights for my family vacation during the December break. We were given rooms on separate floors. The heating was not working in my children's room and the windows were drafty making the room very cold.The hot water was not working in my room. The owner is very nice and apologized but did nothing to correct the situation. He had a new server who was not trained in hospitality. She left with out making our rooms on one of the days. It was very unpleasant returning to a cold unmade room after a day out. The breakfast is bare minimum and every time one wants a cup of tea, one has to ask the server. There are so many better hotels in the area for about the same price.

Great location. No need for transport to go to most of the attractions. Staff are extremely friendly.

We were so pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this hotel. It has so much character and every detail is so nice and thought about. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The location is ideal for walking. We had the Bazar and all the major sight seeings a few min away. We recommend this Hotel and will look forward to staying here again!

small but big at heart

Had only one day in the hotel but it was really pleasant .All the amenities and all the sites that I wanted to visit were on the door step The staff were very helpful and even recommend me to a restaurant which was excellent

Séjour en famjlle

Nous avons été en famille dans cet hôtel pour découvrir Istanbul et nous ne regrettons pas notre choix ! C'est un hôtel a proximité des tous les lieux cultes d'Istanbul, le personnel est très accueillant et sympathique. Excellent rapport qualite prix ! L'hôtel est très bien situé ce qui permet de faire absolument tout à pied ! Je recommande cet hotel !!
