Nice hotel in WVPosted Oct 19, 2015
Pros: The staff of this hotel were so nice, so accommodating, so helpful, and so happy. They were amazing! The rooms were comfy, too!
Cons: Pillows...better pillows.
Stayed over one night on way to Pittsburgh. Courtney and Jordan were excellent at the front desk. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable, and they put us on the bottom floor per our request. No hassles! I liked it so much that I booked another night for our return trip. Damian helped us that evening, and he was super nice and helpful as well. The hotel is close enough to some restaurants that you can actually walk there if you choose to. We really enjoyed our stay, and will be staying there again when we head back to Pittsburgh. The only issue that was of any downside was the pillows. I like big comfy pillows, and these were a little too soft and squishy and flat for me. But, I never leave home without my own pillows, so it was all good. Oh, and they have coffee and hot chocolate available in the lobby 24 hours a day. It was AWESOME! Thanks for a terrific stay!

Room very spacious and clean. Bed comfortable. Breakfast could have been better, but we would stay there again.

Not a great placePosted Aug 24, 2015 on Hotels
When we arrived at the hotel, there was no record of our confirmed reservation. This was at 10:00 at night, after a 4 hour trip. The women at the front desk said that this often happens with third party booking sites. There must be an issue in the hotel's computer system that doesn't allow the third party booking reservations to come through. Hotels.com straightened it out and luckily the hotel still had a room left or we may have spent the night in our car. Once we got to our room, it was musty and damp smelling. We turned on the AC, but even after running for a few hours, the smell was still there. This Hampton Inn does not live up to the chain's standards.

Centrally LocatedPosted Jul 21, 2015
Room needs upgraded to match Hamptons Standards. Cube refrigerator was sitting on floor next to restroom entrance with power cord laying on floor. Found hair in tub and around sink in restroom. Very damp mustie Oder in room.

What a gem!Posted Jun 18, 2015 on Hotels
We were on our way home from georgia & had some delays. Didn't make it as far as we had planned & decided to stay in this city. What a gem! This hotel is pet friendly, but was still considerably nicer than any we had stayed in previously. Right off the highway & a pleasant little city that had everything we needed. It will be our halfway stop from now on!
