"The stay was decent, with a few things that could be improved. The location was very convenient, right off I-26, making it easy to get to and from the hotel. The modern, carpet-free guestrooms were a nice touch and made the room feel clean and comfortable. However, the room felt quite small for a king-size room, and you had to be careful walking around the bed because it was easy to bump into the corners of the wooden bed frame. We were also on the 3th floor and could hear people walking around on the 4th floor, which was a bit disruptive. The shower took about five minutes to get warm, and the water pressure was quite weak. Breakfast had limited options, although the dining area was clean and well maintained. One highlight was the pancake machine, it made amazing pancakes and was definitely a favorite! The friendly and attentive staff were one of the best parts of the stay and made us feel welcome."

"Great place to stay. Very clean and up to date. Only issue was the water was at record low so we had to keep boat at Taw Caw Campground docks. But that's ok. Would def stay here again."

"For the price, surprised to see no USB or USB-C outlets in the room. Don't forget power adapters/blocks. Also, tried to grab a burger from the Placery on a Monday around 1:30PM and it was closed. Other than that, hotel room was clean and staff was friendly. Breakfast was great with different options daily."

Lake Marion Canal Home: Dock, Yard, Porch

"Very nice and peaceful stay. Easy dock access as long as you’re in a pontoon, bass boat, or something of the sort. A little too shallow, at least when we went, for a deeper setting boat. Water was about 4-5 ft low. Very cozy and we utilized the screened-in back porch everyday. Host was communicative when need be but we didn’t want for much. There’s a few grocery stores relatively close but it was great to get away from the bigger city traffic and spend a week not encountering very much. Will hopefully be able to stay again in the future."
