Pros: meet my expectation
Cons: So far, I can not get a receipt to compelete my reimbursement. The hotel did not provide a receipt and Expedia did not do so also.
Location: No much if you do not like to skie. Stop by the red stone park if you travel back to Denver
nice view, friendly front desk service, and easy park service;

Within walking distance to downtown Breckinridge and beaver run ski lift. They also have a shuttle that runs every 10 min to take you where you need to go. Very nice hotel and staff.

Better than reviews suggest

Pros: Proximity to skiing...5 min. walk across the street to the 'green' Quicksilver run.
Cons: Figure out a way to have self-parking. Valet worked ok, but a lot of us don't want to deal with valet and all the tipping stuff.
Location: Skiing...great family mountain, tons of nice wide intermediate runs.
Spacious, comfortable room. Excelllent bed. No problems.

Warm cookie, but weird elevators

Pros: really good complimentary warm cookies!!
overall good location. About 5 min walk to main street. Nearest ski lift was a walk across street, parking lot and down a hill. Though, i would not call this a true "ski in/out". Ski shop at hotel was lacking sufficient help and rental choices. Elevators old and inconvenient. Staying above 6th floor requires two elevators and a hike before getting to room. Also these are really small and often occupied.

The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. The food in the restaurant was quite good, and the breakfast buffet provided sufficient options for all family members. The on-site ski rental shop was convenient. Rent your equipment there, walk across the parking lot and hop onto the slopes. Then hand your skis to the ski valet at the hotel upon your return. The kids enjoyed the pool and the hot tubs.

Never going to a DoubleTree again

Pros: Its in Breckenridge.
Cons: Customer service
This location is hardly even worth a mention, but I stay at a lot of hotels and I must say, this experience stood out. Not only were the front desk staff (Elizabeth and Irina) plain rude upon my inquiry for assistance, but they didn't care about my issue and were snide as they denied helping me. Snide! If I ever spoke to my clients in the degrading, argumentative and disrespectful way that I was my clients would forever dismiss me on the spot. I am shocked that not only a front desk supervisor but also a front desk manager would treat any guest like they did, let alone an HHonors member. Although I wasn't holding an event this evening, as an event producer I will no longer be bringing my events to any DoubleTree location. I am also considering blacklisting all Hilton locations (unfortunately, because I like the Conrad brand) because of this instance. Guests of any kind are not meant to be disrespected, shamed and put down. I will gladly take my vacations and my business elsewhere.

Fantastic Hotel and even better staff

Everything from the location to the room was perfect. What sets this doubletree apart are its people. I travel very often and can honestly say this stay ranks right up there with the friendliest staff. Everyone from the front desk to the valet/shuttle guys were amazingly accommodating. The housekeeping staff also gets special merit. Always friendly and hard working. Our housekeeper found our toddlers pacifier under the bed and left it in a hot water cup with a note that she had found it and also left is bags for his diapers. The warm cookies were just gravy. Thank you all
