One night in the mountainsPosted Nov 19, 2015
Pros: Location was perfect. On the outter edge of River Run, but we were in the building that had the pool/spa which made it very convenient.
Cons: Shower faucets were terrible. Very little water pressure making it difficult to get switched from tub to shower. Shower heads did not flow good.
Location: Right in River Run village for shopping and restaurants. Short walk to the gondola.
Our overall experience of this lodge was good. I was able to request a room in the building with the pool/spa as I knew we would be spending some time there. My only complaint is about the showers, very little water flow making it difficult to switch from tub to shower. Also when I started the shower in the master, it came out rusty. Check-in and check-out staff was excellent.

Who will be Colorado's first smoke-free resort?Posted Oct 7, 2015
Pros: Luxurious yet cozy. Slope and mountain views, right next to the village, what more could you ask for.
Cons: Ban cigarette smoke. Sucking other peoples fumes and seeing cigarette butts on the shores of the Snake River is just vile.
Location: Breck, Frisco, Dillon, it's all here.
Like just about every other mountain resort in Colorado, Keystone is stunning. Natural beauty, top notch facility, clean mountain air. What spoils it is what spoils them all, second-hand cigarette smoke. It's as iff everyone in Colorado is still living in the eighties, or maybe it's just the tourist? Thumbs up for legal weed, thumbs way down for second-hand cig smoke. Get with the times Colorado resorts, one of you needs to be smoke-free.

Summer getaway at the base of a ski resortPosted Aug 25, 2015 on Hotels
Check-in process was very confusing. Condo Check-in East was closed (after business hours), Condo Check-in West was closed due to parking lot repairs. Fortunately, our third stop (Keystone Lodge from desk) was open. 30 minutes to reach the check-in desk is not OK. Bedroom in the 1 bedroom condo was very small, but kitchen and living areas were more comfortable. These condos are at the base of a ski resort at 9,000 feet and do not have air conditioning. For summer stays, windows could be opened but that let in noise from the plaza below.

Location Location Location but....Posted Aug 11, 2015
The main thing going for this place is Location. Other than that, the place was pretty disappointing. The rooms looked run down, dirty. The master bathroom layout was the strangest I have ever seen. The toilet so small and stuck at an angle almost impossible to use. Walls were dirty, paint chipping. No AC in the rooms and a smell of old age in the air. The mattress felt old and bumpy. Carpets dingy and old as well. Yes, it was spacious, but that is about it. We will not go back.
