Cedar Ridge 204-A hostel, not a condo!

Posted Mar 22, 2016
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: Update! Update! Update! Why not provide closer check in service? Why not provide wireless? Way too pricey for this level of décor/comfort/size etc.
Location: Walking distance everything on Main St. in Frisco.
This condo is a very small closet sized studio. You can't check in at the property, so you have to check in about 8-10 miles away in Dillon. Unit 204 was so ridiculously appointed, with plastic flowers everywhere, garage sale furniture. The bathroom was ok, bed semi-comfortable, but it was more of a hotel room size than a condo, really just a crash pad, with a tiny place to cook hostel-like food. No wireless internet! IN 2016? AND, they want you to do your dishes (no dishwasher) and take your trash with you (no dumpster on site!) Had I not paid exactly the same amount, at the same time of year (in Beaver Creek even!), on the same website, that was a castle in comparison, perhaps my expectations would have been less. For Frisco, this condo would have been more appropriate at half the price. Better to stay at one of the area hotel/motels for a little less, and then you'll have wifi, a front desk, cleaning service, and maybe a pool. Terrible experience.

The condo rental experience through Summit Resort Group was fantastic. Our condo was perfect. Very clean, great location, and everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend Summit Resort Group.

Cashpad Condo Review

Posted Dec 28, 2013 on Orbitz
We reserved a 1 BDRM condo in Frisco (pictured above) through an online travel service (starting with "O") and when we picked the key's the property manager had switched it to a studio, saying that reservations coming through the travel service do not contain specific guidance on unit configuration. The property manager was able to find a 1 BDRM unit in Dillon (not as desirable) so at least we had room for 2 adults + 2 (adult) kids. The moral of the story is that this online travel site may not be the best choice to book a condo because you are NOT guaranteed the property that you reserve. The unit that we stayed in was very average but w/nice view.

This is a condo, not a hotel and not in Frisco!

The property listed is not what we actually got. Upon arrival to the listed address we realized it was a condo and there was nowhere to check in. We called the toll free number and they told us we had to drive to their office in Dillon to get the keys and the condo we got was in Keystone and not in Frisco as listed. Because we picked up the keys afterhours, we had to come back the next day when the office was open to sign the receipt. Other than, our stay was great. The condo had 2 bedrooms and a great view a Keystone ski run.
