"We had a great girls weekend staying at the 1799 inn. The location is great and we were able to walk out the door to all the sites, shopping, and restaurants around town. We were there during the Christmas season and the town was so nostalgic. The inn was clean and welcoming. A few things we noticed is the heating situation. "Location couldn’t be better, having a parking spot was a huge bonus. The unit needed a little tlc. The stove vent hood was very dirty. A previous renter actually wrote in the dust, clean me. The toilet was loose and wobbly. The Kureg needs replaced, doesn’t fill to the proper level. The space heater did not work. Location, location, location."

"We really enjoyed staying here. Fun little town to visit. Very close to the C&O Canal. We did some hiking but I want to come back again to bike along the trail. Just a note: in the bedroom there is a staircase above and you can hear people walking on it. But, we didn't notice after we went to sleep so not a problem."

"Perfect location, plenty of space to relax. Brewery near was lovely! Harpers Ferry was cute and closes early so it was nice to be able to come home and relax and play some cards.
