The room definitely needed some repairs. I was told that the shower door was broken at check in and they even gave me a discount because of it. Besides that, there was a leak at the base if the toilet and some obvious water damage on the ceiling i. The bathroom. However the bed was very comfortable and the front desk staff member at check in (I am sorry but I don’t recall her name) was very friendly.

A Mixed Bag
This hotel was a mixed bag. The people were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean, but there were a few quirks that brought my rating down. There were no amenities (bar soap, lotion, etc.) in the bathroom, except for the containers attached to the shower wall. When I inquired at the desk, they said that they ran out. So, I had to use the body wash to wash my hands in the sink. Also, the room did not have a chair to go with the desk. Again, I inquired and was told that it should be there. Evidently the previous guest did something that necessitated it being removed for cleaning. Really?? Also, one of the beds was comfortable, the other had a large dip in the center. Quality control needs to be upgraded here.

Water wasn't very hot to take a shower. Our room, #113, could use some freshening up. New lamps and new chairs as they look dated. Something that would brighten up the room.

Many other options are much better
Not a clean room. Lots of dust and dirt. Very high concentration of smoking smell. Couldn’t stay the night and had to go elsewhere.

Room was dated and had funky smell that kept me up all night. We usually stay at Hampton Inns while on the road and have been very pleased. Surprisingly, this one was a disappointment, especially for what we paid. I plan on opening my lodging options in the future.

The staff has always been great at the Paxville, SC site. No issues there. The facilities are falling apart. Water damage from ceilings in two of the rooms I rented plus the breakfast area ceiling broke in mid serving of breakfast with water leaking from the ceiling. The weather was clear. Great place to stay for those traveling with pets. That is the only plus.

Can’t close the main curtain in the room. The rod doesn’t extend all the way. Too much light shining in from the parking lot. Bathroom ceiling has water damage. Cracked drywall falling on floor. Tray waiter falling apart. So loose that it cannot hold my luggage.

The room was horrible. It hasn’t been updated ever hellos or so ward your head or just say great in heaven, the robe stunk there was a crack in the bathroom sink the drain did it drain in the bathroom sink? Everything was just old in there and I paid $200 a night for that dump. I would like to get something done about that.

It’s a little dated once you enter the room & there was, what looked like, a small blood stain on the side of the fitted bed sheet so I slept on top. The room smelled a little musty too. Aside from those two things, the room was clean. The staff was really nice. It was a one night business stay.

Room was dated. Furniture was old and chipped. Bathroom had black and pink mold Wallpaper was peeling and showed signs of water damage. Not what I expected from Hilton, nor their Hampton inns. Very disappointing.

Room Canceled without Notification
My stay was canceled by the hotel due to over booking. I booked the hotel room back on July 24th through Hotels.com. Here it is, 39 days later, September 1st and I drove all the way there, 3.5 hours, arrived around 10 PM and the front desk had my name written down, telling me my room got canceled due to overbooking. They could have at least called me since my name was already written down. I had to go stay in a smelly $92 hotel for the night. Unacceptable.

Front Desk Clerk, albeit friendly, was seriously stoned and I could not get through my checkin without multiple errors, lengthy process while late and tired. He was trying to be nice by asking numerous personal questions, he couldn’t recall the responses and kept reasking, which added to the time. The lady in front of me was also remarking how slow he was. Breakfast staff was also unfriendly and lacking options that should have been available.
