You might want to look at other options

Posted Aug 24, 2017
I read the reviews and thought this might be okay. The exterior isn't bad, but the rooms are very worn. Hallways and room both had a weird smell. No elevator for upper floors. Bathroom was gross and beds were hard as a rock. Oh, and somebody has planted a vegetable garden in the flowerbeds. Staff was nice, but you may want to consider other options at this price.

Got into our room and the toilet had not been cleaned and still contained most recent occupants bodily fluids in it. And then when this was resolved we went to our beds and pulled back the covers and found mouse feces and urine in between the pillow.

Potential Horror Movie Plot Pitch - but true!

Posted Jun 6, 2017 on Hotels
So, I was stranded after my vehicle broke down on a Sunday-no automotive shops work on Sunday. I was frazzled, fried, frustrated-and desperate. This was the cheapest hotel in walking distance. Gentleman who checked me in at first seemed frustrated that I had made the reservation through Hotels.com. But, he became nicer after I explained my situation. At first, my room seemed fine...so I collapsed on the bed & continued to research options for my broken vehicle. Then...I began to notice a few things. Hairs that weren't mine on pillows. Small bits of random things that I couldn't discern from small bugs or crumbs - in a panic I swept my hands across the sheet to remove them. I lifted the sheet-hairs were ground into the blanket under the sheet. (???) I want to believe it was nothing...with coping mechanisms of denial in full effect. Then, I looked at the tub. There were hairs left behind by other unfortunate visitors. I probably should have left...but I had already hit my "dealing with drama" max for the day, given my car situation. It would have been worth the additional $15 to go to the Holiday Inn & Suites next door. I'm now waiting to find out if those small bits were crumbs...or something much more terrifying that perhaps traveled home with me (cue horror movie score here.) I will not stay at this chain again. Even if I am stuck 157 miles from home, desperate and delirious.

Sufficient will Do

The accommodations were adequate not stellar; however; the price was affordable and more in line with what I wanted to spend. It was a nice and clean place but not enough attention to detail was given.
