(Please don't post publicly), this is just for the employees and hotel. I had an outstanding experience at this Hampton Inn and am very grateful to the staff who went out of their way to take great care of me during my stay. I had flown in late and gone straight to the nursing home to be with my beloved grandmother who died in the early morning. I called several times to let the hotel staff know I would be checking in late, then very late, and each time I was reassured that the room would be there by a friendly voice. I was so sad and weary by the time I finally arrived at the hotel close to 5:30 in the morning. Kazim welcomed me, offered me fresh coffee and water, provided me with several snacks, and very warmly listened to me tell him about my night. I was having trouble with the fan in the room and he came in and showed me how it worked and patiently told me to let him know if I needed anything else. In the morning, a sweet housekeeper named Ashley gave me an extra set of toiletries (my room had two shampoos but no conditioner- no big problem at all) and the managers on duty that day (one who had long, dark brown hair in a ponytail, and Kelsey in the evening) were also awesome. I felt like I was in the twilight zone because of everything that had happened, but the friendly front desk staff and the consistency of having them there during my two-day stay made it really feel like it was a home away from home. I will never forget my stay or that time in OH. Thank you so much.

Bad bathroom facilities and lack of staff.

Bathroom toilet broke left us scrambling to call for custodial services. Non available until 9:00am. I called at 7:00 we needed to leave hotel by 9:00. Had to request another room for bathroom facilities and shower. That toilet also, was a malfunction as tank would not refill. When asked for refund I was only granted a $27.00 refund out of $138.00. What a slap in the face. Never will stay at a Hampton again. Also, at check in, no one at desk. Waited for a good 5 minutes for someone to come to front desk.

We picked to stay at this hotel strictly for the hot tub and pool which we were told were both in workin order only to get there and both were out of service until atleast April very disappointed and since we booked through hotel.com we could not get a refund and go somewhere else again very disappointed

Sometimes it pays to spend a little more

Cons: The only suggestion I would have is the room would be even nicer with another chair and lamp. The room is large enough to handle them.
Location: Plenty of places to eat nearby but girl at desk told us about a local place about 5 miles away and it was great.
This hotel was easily the best we stayed in out of 5 on our vacation. From check in to breakfast at check out it was certainly worth the extra dollars to stay. The staff was great, the room was clean and spacious and everything worked as is should.

For the most part, our stay was enjoyable. The breakfast buffet was average. Our room was not serviced while we were away for the day. Not sure how we got passed by.

Almost as described

P'ool was out of service. I suggested that could have been noted on the website. Room nice, also staff. Breakfast offered prepared oatmeal and nuts for vegans (better than most). Plenty of interstate noise (but it's by the interstate). Outside not very well kept, but perhaps I am one of the few people who walks around outside.
