Looks good but not as expectedPosted Jan 3, 2018
Pros: location, views, price
Cons: give the full story about the pools and fees- we came down here specifically for the pools and do not appreciate the bait ans switch on the fees
Location: hiking trails right across the street, golf course
The hotel charges additional 'resort fees' if you book thought third parties rather than direct. They claimed 8 pools but the 2 main ones where closed down and we were not notified, even though we call to ask about them 3 weeks prior. Also they did not pick up trash and cups from the day before in the morning (10am) at the pool areas. Overall it was fairly nice but definitely not as advertised

Quiet and good locationPosted Dec 25, 2017
We went on a family vacation before Christmas due to cost. We saved quite a bit going just before the Christmas Holiday. Tapitio Cliffs was beautiful, quiet, and close to fun activities. Not too many people there-pool/hot tub to ourselves! My husband and son went golfing and I went to their spa. Both experiences were excellent and well worth our money. Lots of special attention without so many guests. We have stayed here before during Spring Break and there were a lot of people, but still not too crowded. We went for a two mile hike across the road at a state or city park. I would gladly repeat this trip every year to come. I will say the large pool was closed. Unsure why. We probably would not have used it anyway.

Hotel has a lot to offerPosted Nov 26, 2017
I thought the hotel was a little run down and the pictures made it look much nicer than it was. It could be fabulous - great location and concept.

This hotel was very nice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends. Great views. Clean. Friendly staff. All good things to look for when staying in Phoenix.
Too many nicer places to stayPosted Nov 25, 2017 on Hotels
Kathy, Manager at the Pointe in Tyme restaurant was amazing and the fromt desk at check in we’re great. The other main restaurant - I forget the name but it’s tbe one with the famous view of the city - either has rude and inaccomodating people (seems they close for the evening whenever they feel like it) or incompetent people. They evening guy at the front desk was totally unhelpful as well. One last thing - the have a coffee bar in the lobby that totally looks like a Starbucks. I means logo, only Starbucks coffee serverd with options like every other Starbucks. But you can’t use a Starbucks gift card - because it’s NOT really a Starbucks. It’s Hilton “brewing” Starbucks coffee. All the Starbucks look and feel is just to lure you in. Apparently their accountants couldn’t figure out a way to keep the books straight and allow you to use a Starbucks gift card and keep the charade going.
