I had bad expérience at this hotel. Room not clan,corridor smell bad and all carpet not clan.

Close to the highway and Sawgrass mall

Location: Good italian restaurant around the corner - excellent diner down the street (Lester's) and Sawgrass mall within minutes.
Excellent - what you expect from La Quinta Inn. Close to the highway and Sawgrass mall. Friendly staff - good continental breakfast.

Good location, old outdated hotel

I have stayed before trying this hotel in the Hilton Double Tree hotel that has a free van to the mall. I thought this hotel would be similar in quality but it was old, the room smelled (cigar) and the breakfast setup and options were below my standards. Nonetheless,The hotel staff was very friendly and with great customer service and provided me with transportation recommendations and allowed a late checkout!

Mediocre...horrible smell

Pros: 1. Clean and tidy 2. Price 3. Good facilities 4. Efficient Room Service (change of towels/making of bed) 5. Location (2 mins away from Sawgrass Mills)
Cons: 1. The poor odor (smoky/musty) 2. Air conditioning
Location: Sawgrass Mills Mall and Restaurants/Fast food outlets 2 mins away
I previously stayed at a La Quinta in Miami for one day prior to a cruise last year which turned out pretty good so I decided to give it another shot but this time at Sunrise, Fort Lauderdale. The hotel staff was very pleasant and welcoming but the room was not. Whilst it appeared clean and tidy, the smell was disgusting. It had a musty/smoky smell. I specifically stated in my room reservation request "non-smoking room". Had to buy Lysol which still didn't help with the poor odor. Additionally, the air conditioning didn't seem to be functioning properly which had the room extremely hot. On the next trip, I'm definitely not selecting la Quinta as an option... Stayed Feb 2017

Close to BB&T Center

Pros: Location to why I was in town
Cons: Spruce up the rooms. Colors are nasty.
Location: Great location for events at BB&T Center and the huge outlet mall. Not too far to beaches.
Was in town for a concert. Waited forever for a room. Breakfast was ok. Comfy bed. Real nice that they had a shuttle option to go to BB&T Center. $16 round trip for 2. Parking at BB&T is $20.

Nice hotel. Close to our Dr.

We come to this area frequently to see my Dr. @ Cleaveland Clinic. This was our first stay at this hotel & we were impressed. I'd give it a 10 star all the way around. We will be booking more stays here. See you soon. :)

Nice hotel near B.B.&T.

Pros: Location and Staff's friendliness and hospitality.
Cons: Have to think about that one!
Location: We enjoyed shopping, coffee/Starbucks, dinner/Pizza.
Location great for hockey game, shopping at Sawgrass Mills and easy access to Ft. Lauderdale.

Pros: Location and price
Cons: Not very well sign posted from the main road
Location: Mall, good restaurants available close by.
I was looking for an overnight stay before catching a flight after a road trip. The hotel near the highway, walking distance from restaurants, clean, the staff were helpful, everything in the room worked and it was recently refurbished. The breakfast was adequate and served early.
