Nice Location and a friendly staff.

There was an issue with my hotel booking online through Expedia. Expedia had made a mistake on their end and the front desk manager, Lynch was a great help. He called up Expedia, waiting on hold, was very patient and finally got me into my room. It's a clean hotel and I would definitely go back there again.

Close to shopping

Pros: Location
Cons: Cleanliness, terrible smoke of cigarettes
Location: location is great, hotel not so much
Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke, bathroom was not very clean, beds were uncomfortable

pet friendly hotel

Pros: the laundry machines
Cons: clean the rooms, the carpets in the pet friendly rooms. the hosts at the front desk..smile
Location: location is good not far from sawgrass, and near all major highways
Hi, Well being a travel agent I know am spoiled,however.... If you advertise a pet friendly hotel thats great but clean the carpets the smell from the animals was horrible. The continental breakfast was lovely.. But guys this is Florida..the everglades are right around the corner... Clean the bugs off the coffee machine.. Big plus they have great lauundry machines!!

Near the mall

For those who focus in shopping at Sawgrass Mills Mall the stay here is perfect. The hotel is comfortable, correct and close to the mall, with nice options to dinner around. One night solves the troube eith 2 day of shopping and bags. Goes to Miami only to relax

Ideal for Sawgrass Shoppers

Pros: Receptionist, Waffles with fruit jelly, Location, Fridge and microwave in room, Security safe in Manager's office.
Cons: Check the room's amenities Before the guests arrive.
Location: Sawgrass Mall, which has everything including vision care.
Upon check in we were warmly greeted by the receptionist who provided recommendations for transportation, shopping etc. These proved invaluable. Our room however revealed a toilet that did not flush and a room refrigerator in which the freezer was so heavily iced over that nothing more could fit in it. The receptionist came up immediately when called and showed us how to manipulate the flushing system; she also checked other facilities in the room to ensure our comfort. Unfortunately, the promised defrosting of the fridge never occurred during our 3 night stay.

Fire Alarms all Morning

Pros: The room was clean, but staff was very inconsiderate.
Cons: Policy for alarm testing during business hours while rooms are occupied with paying guests.
(4/21-4/24th 2017) We stayed for 3 nights while visiting family in the area. The first morning the Fire Alarm went off at 8:30am waking everyone on the floor, and it was a false alarm. The last day staying in the hotel there was a sign posted that they would be testing the fire alarms in the hotel. These "test" alarms began around 9am and continued every few minutes until about 11am disrupting all the hotel guests trying to enjoy the breakfast in the lobby. It makes no sense why these test could not be done after check-out time around 11am-noon when there would be fewer guests to be put through the inconvenience. When checking out we mentioned our discomfort of our stay due to the repeated morning fire alarms the woman working the desk was not sympathetic or offered any apologizes and rather rude. I then asked for any sort of discount or consolidation for our inconvenience, and she said to take it up with Expedia as there was nothing the hotel could do for us. Will never stay here again or probably book at another la quinta property.
